New Music: The Diplomats – “On God” Feat. Belly [LISTEN]

It’s been a long time coming, about 14 years to be exact since the last time we received a Dipset album. The wait for a reunion album may be over soon as the collective comprised of Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones and Freekey Zekey have been working on new music for their upcoming ‘Diplomatic Ties’ album.

On their new track entitled “On God” the Dips recruit Belly who goes off over the Murda Beatz-produced track. The new record shows The Diplomats have been paying attention to the climate of hip hop and how things have changed since 2004 when they dropped the last album.

Belly Unloads A Lyrical Inferno Over Drake’s “Free Smoke” On #Freestyle060 [WATCH]

The first time Belly blessed our platform was early in our L.A. Leakers freestyle series on #Freestyle004. The critically-acclaimed freestyle was praised by many including hip-hop legend, Jay-Z. It’s only right we brought the Canadian spitter back for round 2 on #Freestyle060.

Over Drake’s Boi-1da-produced “Free Smoke” instrumental Belly spits hard-hitting bars that are guaranteed to keep your head bobbing throughout. This sequel definitely changed the narrative that all sequels are bad.

New Video: Nipsey Hussle – “Double Up” Feat. Dom Kennedy & Belly [WATCH]

Nipsey Hussle made a lot of noise with his ‘Victory Lap’ album and has followed that with some impressive videos for singles off the LP. The latest to get the video treatment is my favorite song on the album, “Double Up” featuring Dom Kennedy and Belly.

Directed by Sergio, the cinematic 11-minute video takes place in 2007 before all of Nip’s major success. A younger Nip starts the video bagging weed with his aspiring apprentice, which is played by his girl, Lauren London. After a brief run-in with the law, Lauren decides she doesn’t wanna live the street life and links with Nip 10-years-later.

Their next meeting finds Lauren married to a perspective buyer of Nip’s hustle. The pair rekindles shortly after at Nipsey’s pool party, where Dom and Belly appear with a collection of women around them.

New Video: Belly – “What You Want” Feat. The Weeknd [WATCH]

When Belly announced his new single “What You Want” with The Weeknd, you should’ve known a hit was imminent. The track has turned into the most added song on radio across the country and should get bigger with the visuals which dropped today.

Directed by Colin Tiley, the dark, psychedelic video was primarily shot at an operational penitentiary. The brXOthers get things going in a pyramid within the prison grounds before riding out in a red convertible.

“What You Want” is the third single off Belly’s forthcoming  ‘Midnight Zone’ album that will also include “4 Days” featuring YG and “Maintain” featuring Nav. Having heard the album from front-to-back, I can tell you it’s pure fire and blends both Belly’s lyrical and melodic abilities.

New Music: Belly – “What You Want” Feat. The Weeknd [LISTEN]

XO brXOthers Belly and The Weeknd reunite once again for the sentimental “What You Want,” following their last collaboration on “Might Not.”

While Belly and The Weeknd go back-and-forth on the hook. Abel kicks things off singing about a past lover named Mercedes. Meanwhile Belly spits about a female he knew from the projects rapping, “Never went to college, she got collagen in her body / You don’t need that type of knowledge when you pretty and polished.”

Be alert for the “What You Want” video coming soon and more heat from Belly, as his album is on the horizon. I’ve heard parts of it and can definitely say you’re in for a treat.

Days after beginning the rollout for his upcoming ‘Midnight Zone’ album with the release of “4 Days” featuring YG, Belly unleashes the visuals for the banging DJ Mustard-produced single.

Directed by Millicent Hailes, the video is shot in an L.A. smoke-filled, neon-lit warehouse, where Belly smokes on cigars, as dancers do what they do best. Meanwhile YG puts on for the west side with fancy classic cars and more models. The clip includes some special effects and trippy transitions, which can be seen throughout.

New Music: Belly – “4 Days” Feat. YG [LISTEN]

Looking to continue his lyrical prowess from last year’s ‘Mumble Rap’ EP, Belly takes a trip to the West Coast for his new single “4 Days” that features YG and is produced by none other than fellow RocNation signee, DJ Mustard.

Belly uses Mustard’s signature banging production to rap about a woman that he used to want but has changed his stance on, rapping, “Thinking you a bad bitch / Really, you just doing bad, bitch / Fronted on me when I ain’t had shit / Until I came up like a savage.”

YG uses his verse to do the same as he goes off on a female that “fronted” on him rapping, “I tell her she can fuck up my life / Just don’t fuck up my cash flow … You did me wrong when I ain’t had shit / God don’t like ugly, you a bad bitch.”

This single figures to be the first single on Belly’s next project, which Jay-Z might be helping out on after a video and image appeared of them in the studio together.

New Video: G-Eazy – “No Limit (Remix)” Feat. A$AP Rocky, Cardi B, French Montana, Juicy J & Belly [WATCH]

As if G-Eazy’s “No Limit” single wasn’t big enough as is, the Bay Area rapper made it bigger by adding French Montana, Juicy J, and Belly on the remix, which was released and premiered on the Power 106 “#LIFTOFF” last week.

Today G shared the Daniel CZ-directed video, where A$AP Rocky starts things off sitting on a pile of money. From there the explosive, star-studded visuals show a plethora of women twerking in an underground club that is filled with acts like French, Rocky, Juicy J, Belly, and Cardi B, who is shown naked, swimming in dollar bills.
