Nick Grant Torches Erykah Badu’s “Love Of My Life” On #Freestyle041 [WATCH]

Some rappers are scared to do freestyles, especially on a platform like the L.A. Leakers. Nick Grant proved the first time around on #Freestyle012 that he was fearless and he does that once again on #Freestyle041, compensating for his peers that run from the mic.

The South Carolina spitter is getting ready to drop his upcoming ‘Dreamin’ Out Loud’ mixtape, but before doing that he stopped by the Power 106 #LIFTOFF to torch #Freestyle041 for Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk. Over 5-minutes, Nick annihilates Erykah Badu’s romantic ballad “Love of My Life.”

“You gonna build me up or hold me down, huh/Basquiat flow, I got the crown, huh/I’m that nigga even when I’m out of town, Huh/Selling O’s, can I buy a vowel/I made it and I brought my drug dealing friends,” he spits.

Nick Grant Goes Off Over A Classic West Coast Beat On #Freestyle012 [WATCH]

Nick Grant is a prime example of how real barz go overlooked in the day and age of mumble rap. The South Carolina product nearly burned the studio down with BARbarous rhymes over The D.O.C.’s “It’s Getting Funky”.

In a little over 4-minutes Nick addressed the rap game being about flossing, how he’s a public enemy, being hotter than most rappers, and more. The rapper also made references to The Notorious B.I.G., Master Splinter, Maury, Skylar Diggins, Robin Givens, Nas, Jay-Z, and 2-Pac.
