XXXTenataction Dead At 20 [PEEP]

Hours after being shot and found with “no pulse” near his hometown, rapper XXXtentaction has been pronounced dead by Broward County Sheriffs. He was 20-years-old.

XXX, born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was said to be on the 3600 block of N. Dixie Highway in Deerfield Beach, South Florida, near a motorcycle shop, which he spent the early afternoon shopping for a bike. A gunman reportedly walked up to his BMW i8 and fired rounds, before making an escape.

According to dispatch audio the suspects were two African-American males wearing hoodies and the shooter wore a red ski mask. They were said to flee the scene in a black Dodge Journey with tinted windows, although other reports say it was a Chevy Tahoe.

X was rushed shortly after to Broward Health North as a trauma patient and pronounced dead shortly after.

The Florida rapper had been awaiting trial for alleged domestic violence against his pregnant girlfriend. His debut album ‘?’ debuted at No. 1 back in March and he was apparently changing his life around for the better. Prayers up.

New Music: Beyoncé & JAY Z – “Salud!” [LISTEN]

Over the weekend Beyoncé and JAY Z nearly broke the Internet with the release of their surprise joint album, ‘Everything Is Love’. The Carters apparently weren’t done with the album release, as they strike back with another new single called “Salud!”

Produced by Cool & Dre, the single includes vocals from Dre, as The Carters celebrate their success on the victorious ballad. While Hov does his thing with all hip-hop bars, Bey spits a rap-sung verse. This single is exclusively out on TIDAL.

IAMSU! Comes Through With His New Mixtape ’06 Solara’ [STREAM]

IAMSU! is staying true to his humble beginnings.

The Bay Area rapper pays homage to his first car, a 2006 Toyota Solara on his new mixtape, ‘Solara’. Su is serious about his first whip and even with the fame that rapping has brought him, he still keeps it around. I remember the last time I was in the Bay, we mobbed through the city in his Solara and he explained to me the love for his Solara.

Rico Nasty Releases New Project ‘Nasty’ [STREAM]

If you’re not hip to Rico Nasty yet, you should really get in tuned with her wild, turnt up sound. The female spitter has been building a buzz and recently inked a deal with Atlantic Records. To keep her buzz going she releases her new mixtape, ‘Nasty’.

The 14-track project has a real hip-hop, punk vibe the meshes both genres to create some different sounding tracks. Collaborations on the tape include BlocBoy JB on “In the Air” and Lil Gnar on “Transformer.”

Beyoncé & JAY Z Drop Surprise Album ‘Everything Is Love’ & Visuals For “APES**T” [STREAM]

For years a collaborative album between JAY Z and Beyoncé has been on everyone’s wish list. The wait is over with the power couple releasing their surprise ‘Everything Is Love’ album exclusively on TIDAL, upon completing their U.K. “OTR II Tour” dates.

The Carters announced the album during their London stop on tour. After wrapping up their performance on Saturday night, the screen at London Stadium blacked out and read: “ALBUM OUT NOW.”

Packed with 9-tracks, the collaborative release follows Bey’s 2016 album ‘LEMONADE’ and JAY Z’s 2017 album ‘4:44’. On the album Hov and Bey address several topics like the NFL, social issues, the GRAMMYs, streaming, Meek Mill’s ongoing case, Kanye West, and more.

Along with the album release, the Carters dropped the Ricky Saiz-directed visuals for the lead single “APES**T,” which was shot at the Louvre museum in Paris, France.

Nas Unleashes Long-Awaited Album ‘Nasir’ [STREAM]

Escobar season has returned, y’all.

After a long six years, Nas makes his comeback with the release of his first album since 2012’s ‘Life Is Good’. The long-awaited ‘Nasir’ album is his 11th studio album and was previously teased on DJ Khaled’s ‘Major Key’ album in 2016 with the song “Nas Album Done.”

Executive produced by Kanye West, the 7-track album finds Nas rapping about different topics from social issues to fashion and Abraham Lincoln to street life to the Met Gala, and more. It includes features from Kanye, The-Dream, Puff Daddy, 070 Shake, and Tony Williams.

The album was recorded in the mountains of Wyoming, just as recent Kanye-produced albums were.

Nas premiered the album on Thursday night in his hometown of Queens with and exclusive listening. Kanye, Pusha-T, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, Chris Rock, Swizz Beatz, and many others were on hand to celebrate the new album.
