New Music: Jay Rock – “The Other Side” Feat. Mozzy & DCMBR [LISTEN]

The King of the Nickerson Gardens projects, Jay Rock is fresh off a Grammy win for “King’s Dead”. Today he surprised us all with a new single entitled “The Other Side” featuring Mozzy and DCMBR.

It seems that the trio has a few songs loaded for us and they have all been worthwhile. On this track, Jay Rock presents us with a classic west coast summer time vibe and gritty lyrics that come as hard as the concrete we step on. DCMBR comes through on the track and offers a catchy hook as Mozzy steps on the beat and does what he does best by telling vivid and intense tales of his neighborhood.
