The edit on this video of Theophilus London performing at SXSW is SO fresh! Hey Kristopher Rey-Talley, do you mind editing my concert footage? It’s worth a try.
Thank you Good*Fella Media for sending this over.
Check out the 13th edition of Big Sean’s “Weekend Recap” as the cameras follow him all around SXSW last week. Cameos from Trae Tha Truth, Bun B, Steve Aoki, and Andy Milonakis… Just to name a few.
Also, shout-out to Matt Ferrigno, Young Sav, and Steve-O… I see you grinding!
Steve-Ography, founded by Steve-O of GFCNY, documents the lives of a range of creative acts, traveling from coast to coast. The talents of these acts fall within the realms of music, entertainment, fashion, photography, etc. In its first web series, P.O.V., Steve-Ography captures all aspects of artist’s lives and the point of view of everyone involved in their lives, from fans to the artist themselves.
For the fourth episode of P.O.V., Steve-Ography documents Big K.R.I.T.’s show for Billboard Magazine at SXSW. K.R.I.T. also performs Hometown Hero with Grillade.
I need Big K.R.I.T. to go on tour with Grillade soon. That will be one hell of a show.
Dead at Tyler, The “Masturbator’s” confused face. Watch as Nardwuar throws off Tyler, The Creator and Hodgy Beats by showering them with unique gifts. Nardwuar is a research professional!
2011 XXL Freshman Kendrick Lamar made his way out to Austin last weekend and performed some cuts off Overly Dedicated. He’ll be performing at El Rey on April 23rd so get your tickets now. Remember the last time he headlined a show?

Yep, more SXSW footage. Good*Fella Media was on stage to capture Enimem’s newest artist, Yelawolf, perform in front of thousands at The Fader Fort. Another typical night in the life of a Shady signee.
After Diddy introduced the Based God on the Fader Fort stage at SXSW, he performed his biggest hits during first ever set at the music festival.

I already posted some footage from the Billboard SXSW showcase but I figured a mini-compilation of performance footage of the Mississippi rapper wouldn’t hurt especially since he was one of the greater acts there. Check out the performance footage from SXSW including the last video which features Curren$y. Oh yeah, Return of 4eva comes out tomorrow.
Props to Young Sav & Steve-O, UE, IRC for the footage!

I wish I was there with my flipcam and canon! Yeah, I take two cameras with me when I go to shows. This is just another video which makes me say “I wish I was there.” Classic.

I heard Big K.R.I.T. gave a great performance with his live band, Grillade, during this showcase from a few different sources but it will get overshadowed by Odd Future’s “Fuck Billboard” stunt. Don’t forget, K.R.I.T.’s Return Of 4Eva drops March 22nd.
Back to the Odd Future stunt. Tyler, The Creator really dissed the publication of the cover he was just on and stormed off stage.
Tyler said, “Here’s the song you guys all came out to see anyway.” He did “Yonkers.” He then said “You know what, fuck this. Fuck Billboard. I don’t even read that shit. Come see us at Vice” and then ran off the stage. Hodgy Beats and Domo Genesis followed. Left Brain jacked off his mic towards the audience. Syd argued with the soundman. Their people came out and grabbed their stuff and the group bounced. People at the front shout “Wolf Gang.” It was bonkers. And it was over. – prefix mag
I need to see them live. Check out the rest of the performance after the jump, including the video of Odd Future storming off the stage.

I’m still catching up on the 2011 SXSW footage since I didn’t go this year. Sad face. Anyways, Diddy apparently crashed the Fader Fort stage to introduce Lil B. Swag.
I knew that Kanye West was going to be at SXSW but damn, Jay-Z too? Watch the two perform “Monster” and “Swagger Like Us.” Then Hov went solo for “PSA” and later had Kanye come out again to perform “So Appalled.”
