I was at Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa last night to catch Talib Kweli perform since I missed him at Paid Dues and Nokia Theater. So first of all, Detroit Bar doesn’t have the best audio quality since I kept hearing squeeks but it didn’t even matter. Talib killed that show. I even saw Jean Grae perform for the first time and their energy flows so well. I wish I could have salvaged the audio of those videos but I’m sure there will be more. Mr. London performed at the Key Club last night and the crowd was great! It was probably one of the few shoes that had such a balance between male and females and different types of nationalities.
