President Obama’s term is coming to an end. On Tuesday, Obama hosted his final State Dinner at The White House and was joined by Chance The Rapper and Frank Ocean.

Both rappers showed up with someone special, a parent. Chance brought his father, who worked behind Obama in the past when the President was a senator in Chicago.

Ocean, brought along his mother to the event as well as a pair of black and white checkered Vans he wore to the event.

Considering Donald Trump is a presidential nominee, this could be the last time we see any hip-hop figures at The White House for a while.

Jay-Z & Beyoncé Host Obama Fundraiser Event at NYC’s 40/40 Club (News)

Hip-Hop’s favorite power couple, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, threw a fundraiser event in support of President Obama at NYC’s 40/40 club on Tuesday night. The event was exclusive to a handful of attendees, who paid $40,000 each to attend the function. In all, the couple raised a total of $4 million. Beyoncé, who wore a stunning red dress, expressed her support for Obama: “I can’t tell you how proud we are to host tonight’s event with President Obama. We believe in his vision.”

The 44th President praised the couple, expressed how Beyoncé’s a role model for his daughters, and the connection he feels to the couple: “To J and B, thank you so much for your friendship. Michelle, Sasha and Malia are mad at me because they aren’t here. Beyoncé couldn’t be a better role model for our daughters because she carries herself with such class and poise and has so much talent. We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are. So, you know, we’ve got a little bond there. It’s hard but it’s okay. We’ve made history in the past and we’re going to make history in the next seven weeks.”
