MTV caught up with Nipsey Hussle and talked about Hov’s $10,000 purchase of his new mixtape Crenshaw.
“They sent us $10,000, we sent out 100 CDs,” the L.A. rapper told MTV News. “I ain’t get the chance to holler at Jay, but through his people he made it clear that he respected everything, so I was just humbled by it. It felt like it was a good risk. It ended up working out.”

We had DOM KENNEDY come up to premiere some new joints of his upcoming album, Get Home Safely, which drops 10/15 on iTunes & Best Buy. Nipsey Hussle also ended up coming by to show his support and we also received a call from Kendrick Lamar showing his support for both DOM & Nipsey.

Last night we had the opportunity to check out Nipsey Hussle’s Pop-up shop on Fairfax for the release of his new mixtape Crenshaw. Salute to Nip for having a groundbreaking event, he had hundreds of fans waiting outside to meet him so dope! Also a special thank you to Nip for showing us love in his thank you section on the mixtape! Couldn’t be more happy for Nip and the team! Congrats on a HUGE project.

1,000 Hard Copies of Nipsey Hussle’s ‘Crenshaw’ (Event)
Nipsey is looking for another way to change the game, this time by making 1,000 limited edition hard copies of his Crenshaw tape and selling them for $100 each. If you’re trying to get your hands on one of these limited copies, Nipsey is having a pop up shop at 517 N. Fairfax Ave. in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 8th at 12am. That’s Monday night at midnight! Nip also wants to hang out with the first person in line for the day as well for being there early to support. Make sure you’re there early!
