New Music: Guapdad 4000 – “Scammin” Feat. Mozzy [LISTEN]

Coming off getting major promotion on Dreamville’s ‘Revenge of the Dreamers III’ compilation, as he appeared on four songs, Guapdad 4000 returns with a new song of his own. The King of the Nickerson Gardens projects, Jay Rock is fresh off a Grammy win for “King’s Dead”. Today he surprised us all with a new single entitled “The Other Side” featuring Mozzy and DCMBR.

It seems that the trio has a few songs loaded for us and they have all been worthwhile. On this track, Jay Rock presents us with a classic west coast summer time vibe and gritty lyrics that come as hard as the concrete we step on. DCMBR comes through on the track and offers a catchy hook as Mozzy steps on the beat and does what he does best by telling vivid and intense tales of his neighborhood.

Jay-Z Shares A Playlist With His Favorite Songs Of 2018 [PEEP]

Anytime JAY Z compliments or shows love to any artist or song the world pay attention and it goes under the microscope. Last year many rappers shared their appreciation and celebrated landing on Hov’s end of the year playlst. Well, he’s “back up in this bitch like whoa” with his 2018 playlist.

Jigga shared his 2018 “Year End Picks” on his streaming platform, TIDAL. The playlist contains 21 of Jay’s favorite rap songs of 2018, where Drake receives two slots with ‘Scorpion’ cuts “That’s How You Feel” and “Emotionless.”

Other getting praise from the GOAT are Travis Scott with ‘SICKO MODE,” Nipsey Hussle with “Double Up,” Pusha T with “If You Know You Know,” and more. Jay made sure we don’t Michael and Prince him and Kanye as he included some Ye tracks. Meek Mill, Lil Wayne, Mozzy, Rich The Kid, and others also made the cut.

Atlanta’s Derez De’Shon clicks up with Mozzy for the London On Da Track produced track “Whaddup Doe.” This song right here is straight banger with a heavy West Coast vibe and it’s set to be on Derez’s new project ‘Pain 2’, the follow-up to the “Hardaway” rapper’s 2017 debut album ‘Pain’.

If this new joint did anything it’s a full warning he’s preparing to staple his name to the industry.

Mozzy Feeds The Streets With His ‘Gangland Landlord’ Album [STREAM]

Sacramento spitter Mozzy has been in the game since the late ’90s but in the last couple years he’s really evolved and made people aware of his musical talents. Back in February he dropped the ‘Spiritual Conversations’ mixtape and today he unloads his ‘Gangland Landlord’ album.

Carrying a total of 18-tracks, the album has some turn-up slappers coupled with more introspective vibes that are reminiscent of 2-Pac. Features on the album LP include ScHoolboy Q, YG, Ty Dolla $ign, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Yo Gotti, YFN Lucci, Trae Tha Truth, Yhung T.O., Blac Youngsta, Dej Loaf, Iamsu! and a few more.

Mozzy Talks Upcoming ‘Gangland Landlord’ Album, 2-Pac Comparisons, Kendrick Lamar’ GRAMMY Shout Out, YG & More [WATCH]

Mozzy came through the Power 106 #LIFTOFF for a in-depth conversation with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk. With his upcoming album ‘Gangland Landlord’ dropping next week, the Sacramento rapper shared some details about it and his journey as an artist.

Other topics discussed included his comparisons to his idol 2-Pac, his relationship with YG, Kendrick Lamar shouting hims out during his GRAMMY speech, and revealed what his dream collaboration would be. Mozzy mentioned that he wants to “make rap great again,” with a Kanye West, but also would want to collab with Drake, Future, and of course 2-Pac.

He also mentioned that a pivotal moment in his career was being featured on the ‘Black Panther: The Album’ soundtrack and said that it softened his image in a tremendous way.

New Music: Mozzy – “Thugz Mansion” Feat. YG & Ty Dolla $ign [LISTEN]

Mozzy, YG, and Ty Dolla $ign link up to pay the late Tupac Shakur homage on his 22nd death anniversary. The single “Thugz Mansion” is titled after Pac’s 2002 posthumous track and comes equipped with a video that includes a cameo from Demetrius Shipp Jr., who played Pac in las year’s “All Eyez On Me” biopic.

“Thugz Mansion” will be featured on Mozzy’s upcoming ‘Gangland Landlord’ album that is set to drop next month.
