Justin Credible Talks About His Background, The Importance Of DJ Mustard, Why He Refused To Play 6ix9ine On The Radio & More [LISTEN]

We were in Vegas for the final week of 2018 to do some shows and pulled up on the R.O.A.D. podcast homies, who invited Justin in for a conversation about his journey in radio, background, the music industry, got his take on different topics, and more.

The conversation with Crooked, Neva, D Miles, and Jaime begins with Just talking about how he got involved in radio and bounced around to different, smaller markets to learn the ropes. From there he and the gang discussed the importance of DJ Mustard to the resurgence of L.A. hip-hop, why he decided to not play 6ix9ine’s verse on his own song “FEFE,” gave his take on Travis Scott accepting to perform at the Super Bowl, and more.

New Video: Belly – “4 Days” Feat. YG [WATCH]

Days after beginning the rollout for his upcoming ‘Midnight Zone’ album with the release of “4 Days” featuring YG, Belly unleashes the visuals for the banging DJ Mustard-produced single.

Directed by Millicent Hailes, the video is shot in an L.A. smoke-filled, neon-lit warehouse, where Belly smokes on cigars, as dancers do what they do best. Meanwhile YG puts on for the west side with fancy classic cars and more models. The clip includes some special effects and trippy transitions, which can be seen throughout.

“4 Days” is the first single off Belly’s ‘Midnight Zone’ album that will include additional features from The Weeknd, Ty Dolla $ign, Pharrell Williams, French Montana, and Nav. The release date is still to be announced.

New Music: Belly – “4 Days” Feat. YG [LISTEN]

Looking to continue his lyrical prowess from last year’s ‘Mumble Rap’ EP, Belly takes a trip to the West Coast for his new single “4 Days” that features YG and is produced by none other than fellow RocNation signee, DJ Mustard.

Belly uses Mustard’s signature banging production to rap about a woman that he used to want but has changed his stance on, rapping, “Thinking you a bad bitch / Really, you just doing bad, bitch / Fronted on me when I ain’t had shit / Until I came up like a savage.”

YG uses his verse to do the same as he goes off on a female that “fronted” on him rapping, “I tell her she can fuck up my life / Just don’t fuck up my cash flow … You did me wrong when I ain’t had shit / God don’t like ugly, you a bad bitch.”

This single figures to be the first single on Belly’s next project, which Jay-Z might be helping out on after a video and image appeared of them in the studio together.

DJ Mustard Drops 3-Track Remix EP [STREAM]

dj-mustard-dont-box-me

DJ Mustard is festival ready!

Without any fair warning or notice, DJ Mustard drops off his 3-track ‘Don’t Box Me, Vol. 1’ remix EP. On it Mustard experiments and puts his twist on Lil Uzi Vert’s “XO Tour LIf3,” Khalid’s “Location,” and Childish Gambino’s “Redbone.”

Each track keeps some original elements, while Mustard blends in some EDM, funk, hip-hop, and other genres. It is a different sounding project than most are used to from Mustard.

Mustard is currently on a club tour, which will continue throughout July and wrapping up on August 26th inside Marquee Las Vegas Dayclub. He is also executive producing YG’s forthcoming ‘Know Your Worth’ album.

New Music: Meek Mill – “Whatever You Need” Feat. Chris Brown & Ty Dolla $ign [LISTEN]

meek-mill-whatever-you-need-feat-chris-brown-ty-dolla-sign

It appears Meek Mill will be dropping his forthcoming ‘Wins & Losses’ album sooner than later. The MMG rapper has been dropped a lot of new music lately and tonight he returns with his latest single “Whatever You Need”.

Consisting of contributions from Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign, the DJ Mustard-produced single samples Tony Toni Toné’s classic “Whatever You Want” joint. With the crazy combination the new track figures to get heavy radio play across the nation. I also envision the single hitting the Billboard Hot 100 chart in no time.

“Whatever You Need” is expected to land on Meek’s ‘Wins & Losses’ album, which currently has no release date. Starting July 5th Meek will venture with Yo Gotti, YFN Lucci, and Moneybagg Yo on the “Against All Odds Tour”.
