SOB x RBE Deliver Bars Over 2-Pac’s Classic “All Eyez On Me” Instrumental [WATCH]

Putting on for the Bay Area, SOB x RBE came thru the Power 106 #LIFTOFF to put on with some bars. The collective is hot off the release of their ‘Family Not A Group’ collaborative album with Hit-Boy and wanted to show they have a lot more in the tank as they flex their lyrical abilities over 2-Pac’s classic “All Eyez On Me” instrumental on #Freestyle078.

“You cant trust the cops cuz they be killing n****s, hands up and they still hitting n****s,” spits Yhung TO, who even goes on to take shots at rappers that fake their raps and streaming numbers rapping, “these colorful haired n****s ain’t real as they seem”

SOBxRBE Link Up With Hit-Boy For Collaborative ‘Family Not A Group’ EP [STREAM]

SOBxRBE & Marshmello Connect For ‘Roll The Dice’ EP [STREAM]

Bay Area collective SOBxRBE link up with Marshmello, who is one of the biggest EDM DJs in the world for a new collaborative EP entitled ‘Roll The Dice’. As of late the Mello has been tapping more into the hip-hop world having worked with Chris Brown, Tyga, Roddy Ricch, and others.

SOBxRBE Release Their ‘Gangin II’ Album [STREAM]

California collective SOBxRBE come through with their new album ‘Gangin II’, which follows the original that dropped back in February.

Equipped with 15-tracks, the album includes features from fellow California collective Shoreline Mafia on “Let Em Have It,” YoungBoy Never Broke Again on “Can’t Go Back,” and Quando Rondo on “Times Get Hard.”

NEW LEAK: KiingRod – “Chimmey” Feat. DaBoii [PREMIERE]

Associated with the hit-making group SOBxRBE has helped KiingRod gradually make his way as a solo artist, beginning with his debut single “Knockdown.” Collaborating with his SOBxRBE family, DaBoii, Rod comes through with his latest single, “Chimmey,” which is accompanied by a video.

If you’re unfamiliar with the meaning of “Chimmey,” KiingRod broke it down saying, “Chimmy is a word for broke or cheap or hater, like, how some people look at us now – we got our own bag, we started this wave, don’t hate us or act chimmy bc we made our own way. Go out and get yours. BYLUG.”

‘Chimmy’ is a word we made it. We make up a lot of words bc we’re always hanging around each other and making shit up or borrowing other people’s slang. Like ‘pookie,’ which means feeling lost or in a cloud like ‘After smoking 10 woods, I’m feeling pookie,'” he continues.

Saweetie Drops Video For “ANTI” & Shares Track List For Debut EP [PEEP]

Having her first major single “ICY GRL” go viral has took Sacramento up-and-comer Saweetie to a whole other level. Looking to maintain her hot streak, she drops the visuals for her “ANTI” freestyle over SOBxRBE’s thumping instrumental.

In the Bana Bongolan and Soben Phy co-directed video, Saweetie hits Moonlight Rollerway in Glendale, Calif. with her girls and dances in the street. The video includes grainy, VHS-stylized effects.

New Video: SOBxRBE – “Carpoolin” [WATCH]

Creativity should not be determined by a budget and SOBxRBE offer a perfect example of that with the release of the high-energy “Carpoolin” video today. The visual comes as support for their recently-released ‘Gangin’ album that dropped last week.

The “Carpoolin” video captivates its audience with quick switching scenes, constant stimulating of the viewer, combining colors, slow motion, classic VHS clips, and computer animation to visually match the new west coast banger from the Bay Area crew.

SOBxRBE Release Their Debut Album ‘Gangin’ [STREAM]

Vallejo has contributed to the industry in a major way with talented acts like E-40, Mac Dre, Nef The Pharaoh, amongst others. SOBxRBE appears to be the next major act out of the same Bay Area region to blow up and today they took a step in the right direction with the release of their debut album, ‘Gangin’.

Comprised of Yhung T.O., Slimmy B, Lul G and DaBoii, the group first broke in the scene with their appealing single “Anti.” They really haven’t slowed down since then and with 15-tracks on their debut, they’re ready to show what they are all about.

Earlier this month they caught a huge break with their “Paramedic!” single appearing on the critically-acclaimed ‘Black Panther: The Album’. Next month they will also be joining Post Malone and 21 Savage on their joint tour.

New Music: SOBxRBE – “Anti Social” [LISTEN]

Having their debut album on the way has really opened up SOBxRBE to all kinds of different opportunities. Over the weekend they performed in front of thousands at the Jumpman 23 event, have one of the dopest songs on the ‘Black Panther: The Album’, and earlier today it was announced they will be joining Post Malone and 21 Savage on their joint tour.

Capitalizing on all the movement, the Bay Area’s upward trending group released their new single “Anti Social.” The track will land on their forthcoming ‘Gangin’ album that is expected to be released this Friday, February 23rd.
