Beyoncé Unleashes New Single & Video “Die With You” For Jay-Z [PEEP]

beyonce-die-with-you

For Beyoncé and Jay-Z today marks their ninth wedding anniversary. To celebrate their love, Yoncé releases the updated version of her 2015 love ballad, “Die With You.” Along with the single, Queen Bey dropped an extended video with never before seen footage of their wedding and more.

The intimate footage includes clips of the two vacationing, driving around, their wedding, Blue Ivy’s birth, and shows Beyoncé sitting behind the piano, hitting the keys as she sings, “I don’t have a reason to cry / I have every reason to smile / I don’t have a reason to lie / When you’re already reading my mind / I don’t have a reason to be, if I can’t be with you.”

Aside from the video, Bey also shared a  TIDAL playlist called “IV EVER EVER” for Hov, that includes some of their collaborations and other love songs.

All three releases have been released exclusively on TIDAL and can be played below.

Happy Anniversary to the love birds.

New Music: DJ Khaled – “Shining” Feat. Beyoncé & Jay-Z [LISTEN]

khaled-beyonce-jay-z-shining

In the midst of all the GRAMMY commotion last night, DJ Khaled surprised everyone by dropping a new single [*ANOTHER ONE*] titled “Shining” featuring power couple, Beyoncé and Jay-Z. [*ICON ALERT*]

The lively, inspirational single, co-written by PARTYNEXTDOOR, has Bey singing about her blessings and winning streaks from music to her pregnancy. Jay follows Yonceé by spitting gasoline and emptying his subliminal clip, which many thought were shots at Drake.

“I’ve been winnin’ so long it’s like alchemy / I’ve been playin’ cards with the house money / 21 Grammys, I’m a savage n***a / 21 Grammys, I’m a savage n***a / I shouldn’t even worry, backward n***s
12 solo albums, all Platinum, n***a,” raps Hov and goes on with, “I know you ain’t out here talkin’ numbers, right / I know you ain’t out here talkin’ summers, right / I know you ain’t walkin’ ’round talkin’ down / Sayin’ boss shit when you a runner, right?.”

The bars in my opinion were a direct response to both Drake’s singles “Summer Sixteen” and “Sneakin” featuring 21 Savage. Let me know what you took from it in the comments below. Many fans are questioning PARTNEXTDOOR’s loyalty with the writing credit, but he worked only on Beyoncé’s part and not Jay’s.

“Shining” is the first single off Khaled’s 10th album ‘Grateful’, which shows his son Ashad on the cover. Khaled announced Ashad will executive produce the upcoming album.

59th Annual Grammy Awards R&B & Hip-Hop Winners [PEEP]

2017-rap-rnb-grammy-award-winers

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards show was live from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles last night and it turned out to be an EPIC night for the Urban music community.

Chance The Rapper made history by taking home his first GRAMMY for “Best Rap Album” and becoming the first artist ever win the award with a stream-only album. In addition to “Best Rap Album,” Chance also won “Best New Artist” and “Best Rap Performance” for his ‘Coloring Book’ single “No Problem” featuring 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne.

Chance shared a text from Drake, who’s on tour in Manchester, congratulating him on the wins and Lil Wayne sent out a tweet thanking Chance, Chainz, and the fans for his 5th Grammy award.

As for Drake, he nabbed his second and third GRAMMYs for “Best Rap Song” and “Best Rap/Sung Performance” trophies for his highly-praised single “Hotline Bling.” Drizzy followed his wins with a petty Instagram post that read, “Me and my chain are just here to collect the trophies for Work and Anti…howbowdah.” Many thought it was a shot at Rihanna, who didn’t win any awards.

Lalah Hathaway’s won Best R&B Album for ‘Lalah Hathaway Live’, while her song “Angel” notched the victory for “Best Traditional R&B Performance.” Other winners included Maxwell, who won “Best R&B song” for “Lake By the Ocean” and Beyoncé’s little sister, Solange won “Best R&B Performance for “Cranes in the Sky.”

Beyoncé took home two GRAMMYs, one for “Best Music Video” and “Best Urban Contemporary Album.” For Beyoncé, it wasn’t about the two awards she won and more about the big one she didn’t win being, “Album of the Year.”

Adele, who won the award made a graceful speech about Beyoncé and her work on “Lemonade,” saying she thinks it should’ve won the award over ’25’.

New Video: Beyoncè – “All Night” [WATCH]

Numerous awards and accolades make Beyoncè’s ‘LEMONADE’ one of the best albums of the year, if not THE best. Earlier this week Rolling Stone called it the No. 1 album of the year. Queen Bey continues to celebrate the album with the video for “All Night.”

The “All Night” visuals aren’t completely new and appeared in the ‘LEMONADE’ film HBO one-hour special back in April. Prior to the VEVO upload, the video was exclusively on TIDAL and Apple Music streaming services.

Jay-Z, Blue Ivy, Tina Lawson, Zendaya, and others all appear in the abstract video.

Beyoncè & Kendrick Lamar Rumored To Be Performing At Coachella 2017 [PEEP]

beyonce-kendrick-lamar-bet

With Donald Trump getting ready to take office on January 20th of next year, many people are in no rush to get the new year started. However, there is a report floating around that Beyoncè and Kendrick Lamar are rumored to be headlining Coachella 2017. (Now that’s something to be excited for.)

HITS Daily Double is reporting that both artists are set to headline the festival, along with another rumored performer, Radiohead. As of now nothing is imminent, but the rumor should create extra hype for festival. Both Yoncè and Lamar have made appearances at the festival before, but never as headliners.

K. Dot performed at the festival in 2012 and appeared as a special guest for both Ice Cube’s set and Anderson .Paak’s last year. Kendrick’s catalalog during Coachella 2012 was nowhere near what it is now, as he was just a mere supporting act with his name on the final row of the lineup list in a tiny letters. See if you could find it below.

2012-01-10-aiwwshmciaaxlci

Beyoncè has popped up at a couple festivals in the desert before, most recently during her sister Solange’s set in 2014. The Diva also joined her hubby, Jay-Z onstage in 2010.

The official lineup for Coachella 2017 will be released in early January of next year. The event will be at its usual location in Indio, CA. from April 14th-16th and the second weekend April 21st-23rd.

DJ Khaled has already hinted that he will be taking his special cloth talk to the festival. Stay tuned.

Rolling Stone’s 50 Best Albums of 2016 Includes Béyonce, Kanye West, Drake, Chance The Rapper & More [PEEP]

rs_top50of2016-7b8c9fb4-dfe2-40dd-a58b-b60c64c40a6d

Béyonce, Kanye West, Chance The Rapper, Frank Ocean, and Young Thug all finished in the top 10 of Rolling Stone’s 50 Best Albums of 2016.

Queen Béy lead the way with her highly-acclaimed ‘LEMONADE’ topping the list. The platinum-selling album’s placement came to no surprise to some, after its worldwide popularity and countless awards and accolades.

“Beyoncé shut everyone else down this year with a soul-on-fire masterpiece, testifying about love, rage and betrayal that felt all too true in the America of 2016,” wrote the magazine. “The queen not only made the album of the year (and make no mistake, David Bowie would have been the first to say so), she delivered a confessional, genre-devouring suite that feels larger than life yet still heartbreakingly intimate, because it doubles as her portrait of a nation in flames.”

Chance The Rapper, Frank Ocean, and Young Thug all followed Béyonce in the top 10 for their albums ‘Coloring Book’, ‘Blonde’, and ‘Jefferey’, respectively. Both Chance and Franky Ocean have received high praise for the continuous success of their projects while being indepedent.

Drake’s ‘Views’ finished 42nd after ‘If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late’ placed third last year, behind Kendrick Lamar’s ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ and Adele’s ’25’.

Other hip-hop notables include: Danny Brown’s ‘Atrocity Exhibition’ (19th), Rihanna’s ‘ANTI’ (25th), A Tribe Called Quest’s ‘We Got it From Here…Thank You 4 Your Service’ (30th), Alicia Keys’ ‘HERE’ (32nd), Maxwell’s ‘blackSUMMERS’night’ (40th), and Future’s ‘Evol’ (43rd).

New Music: Rick Ross – “Kyrie Irving” [LISTEN]

rick-ross-kyrie

It’s no secret that Rick Ross is a Miami Heat fan. That doesn’t stop The Bawse from paying homage to the reigning NBA Champion, Cleveland Cavaliers’ guard, Kyrie Irving.

On the DP Beats-produced “Kyrie,” Rozay takes a shot a presidential elect, Donald Trump and name drops Beyonce, Steph Curry, and LeBron James in addition to Irving. Listen below.

QUOTABARZ

“I see you fucking up like you were Donald Trump / I cast a vote and get a pussy n***a slumped.”

“Bitches screaming for me like Beyoncé / Jumping out the gym like it’s LeBron James / This other type of money even make me nervous / I’m standing out the roof, jersey Kyrie Irving.”

Beyonce Closes the “Formation Tour” Finale In A Major Way

beyonce-jay-z-formation-tour

Beyonce had arguably the best tours of the year with her “Formation Tour.” Last night was the culmination of the tour after a total of 49 shows in the US and Europe.

To say she ended her last show with a bang is an understatement, considering the names she brought out to join her on stage at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Bey brought out her hubby Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, and Serena Williams, while DJ Khaled brought out Ma$e, T.I., The Lox, Ja Rule, Fetty Wap, Young M.A., August Alsina, Remy Ma, and A Boogie.

Watch Bey and Jay gracing the stage performing “Drunk In Love” in the video below.

Another dope sight to see was the reunion of Jay-Z, DMX, and Ja Rule. Earlier in their careers the trio toured together on the “Hard Knock Life Tour” in 1999. They also were part of a supergroup, that was short-lived.

Murder…

A photo posted by JaRule (@ruleyorkcity) on

What a great moment for hip-hop fans!

Before ending the show, Beyonce paused her set to show the fans appreciation for the support throughout her career.

“I have so much energy because of you guys feeding it to me,” she exclaimed. “I really wanted to make this show special…This is definitely my dream right here. I dreamt that I would be doing this and I’m actually doing it, and I could not be here without you and your support.”

Oh, what a night.

First things first. B’s boots are insanely dope. Lol. Next thing… Follow my snap: Kodaklens. Lol The Final day of the Formation World Tour was nothing short of Epic. The Jay, X and Ja reunion.. Wow. New artist like A Boogie & Young M. A. came through and blessed us. Not to mention Ma$e, DJ Mustard & Fetty Wop joined us for the 1st time as well and killed it. Thanks to The LOX too. This pic may seem random but the people in it are certainly not. It happened right before we exited MetLife stadium at 1am or something still on a high from the show. The artist in this pic like T.I., Remy and August came to several shows, held us down and performed just for the love. As did all the others. You can’t buy that. The We The Best Team including Justin from Roc is in here as well who held Khaled down. DJ Nasty kept it together on the turntables even though we never followed the show script. Lol. Ivan for capturing the historic moments. Terrel & Smokes kept Khaled fresh to death. My brother, Jay, who we can’t thank enough for standing on the side of the stage for every show and coached Khaled & I through the performances. He also took a pic with EVERY guest artist that came through. Lol. Applaud him for that. Steve Pamon, Melissa & Larry from Parkwood for making sure we were good!!!! Anyway, I’m not tryin to do any long dumb thank you speech. It’s important for me to point out and thank those who work hard and deserve it. They often aren’t acknowledged or applauded cause they’re behind the scenes. Khaled, they said we couldn’t do it. We showed them better than we could tell them. Kiko, I’m sick you not in this. I feel like I just came off a Michael Jackson tour. Lol. Beyonce is 1 of the greatest to ever do it.. Ever! Love you, B.
