The 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards will take place February 12th, 2017, and already it’s the topic of all conversation with artists like Beyoncé, Drake, Kanye West, Chance The Rapper, Rihanna, and Adele garnering the most nominations as expected.

Beyoncé is leading the way with the most nominations for her work on ‘LEMONADE’. Queen Bey has absolutely slayed this year’s nominations with 9 nods in several genres of music including Hip-Hop, Urban, and Rock. Her chart-topping album will be going up against Drake’s ‘Views’, Adele’s ’25’, Justin Bieber’s ‘Purpose’, and Sturgill Simpson’s ‘A Sailor’s Guide to Earth’ for Album of the Year.

Drizzy, Rihanna, and Kanye West follow Yonce with 8 nominations of their own for their album releases this year. Chance placed third with 7 nominations for his efforts on ‘The Coloring Book’.

Chance made history with his ‘Coloring Book’ project which generated 13 songs. The project is the first ever “streaming-only” album to recieve a GRAMMY nomination. Since its May release, ‘Coloring Book’, has reached No. 8 on Billboard charts.
