Justin Credible DJs J. Cole’s “KOD Tour” After Party [PEEP]

It was a LIT weekend in Vegas with my brother Justin Credible, who DJed the GOAT, J. Cole’s “KOD Tour” after party at Jewel Nightclub.

Cole, who was coming off his emotional tour stop in Vegas following the sudden death of his friend Mac Miller kept his composure and delivered an excellent performance in front of a sold out club. He ran through many of his classics like “Work Out,” “Power Trip,” and “Can’t Get Enough.” He also performed newer material off ‘KOD’.

Shoutout to Cole, who took the time to chop it up with Justin and myself after the party was over. Cole is a humble, down to earth guy, who loves and is inspired by 2-Pac as much as I am. In case you didn’t catch it Friday was Pac’s death anniversary, as he was gunned down in Vegas on September 7th 1996 and to commemorate him, he wore an “All Eyez On Me” shirt.

Justin shut the club down prior to Cole hitting the stage and set the table by playing a mixture of the hottest hip-hop and reggaeton. The crowd went crazy bringing their energy, while Creddy made sure he matched their’s.

Thanks to Ib, the Dreamville team, the homie Jefe, and the entire Jewel Nightclub staff.

Mac Miller Dead At 26 [REPORT]

I’m sad to report Mac Miller has passed away from what sources are saying is “an apparent drug overdose.” He was only 26-years-old.

According to TMZ law enforcement has said that the platinum-selling, multi-talented rapper was found at his San Fernando Valley home unresponsive around noon today and pronounced dead at the scene. The authorities were called by a male, who made the 911 call from Mac’s house.

Miller had been very transparent and open about his battles with drug addiction and substance abuse throughout the years and used his music as an outlet. Back in May, following his breakup with Ariana Grande he was arrested for DUI and hit-and-run after crashing his Mercedes G-Wagon into a utility pole. Many saw it as a cry for help.

Since making his way on the music scene in 2007, he released a handful of mixtapes starting with ‘But My Mackin’ Ain’t Easy’ and led by ‘K.I.D.S.’ He went on to release five studio albums beginning with his debut, ‘Blue Slide Park’. His recently-released ‘Swimming’ album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

Mac was set to kick off his “Swimming Tour” in support of the album on October 27th with Thundercat and J.I.D.

Many of his peers have paid their respects on social media following the news, sharing short stories, thoughts, and prayers.

Rest easy, Mac.

New Music: Kanye West & Lil Pump – “I Love It” [LISTEN]

While serving as the creative director at last night’s Pornhub Awards, Kanye West debuted a new collaboration with Lil Pump called “I Love It,” with Lil Pump, along with the accompanying visuals.

On the raunchy single Yeezy has a pretty dope verse and handles the hook where he raps, “I’ma sick fuck / I like a quick fuck / You’re such a fucking ho / I love it.”

Spike Jonze executive-produces the hilarious video, while Mr. West and Amanda Adelson co-direct it. The clip includes a cameo from Adele Givens, who takes Ye and Pump on a long walk down the hallway, while they both wear oversized slides and cartoonish suits.
