Kendrick Lamar Drops Cryptic Message Possibly Hinting A New Album [PEEP]

iv

Kendrick Lamar isn’t really on social media and doesn’t keep up with any of the outlets. So, when he dropped the above image on his Instagram earlier today, fans went into pandemonium, rightfully so.

To me the “IV” is K. Dot hinting at the release of his fourth album. The “IV” translates to the number 4 in Roman numerals. That makes sense if you take into account that his debut album was ‘Section.80’, his second was ‘good kid, m.A.A.d city’, and his third was the critically-acclaimed, ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BR-YXjeha56/?taken-by=kendricklamar

Cornrow Kenny is really due to drop a new album being that it’s been two years since ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’. I mean, I know he dropped ‘Untitled Unmastered’ last year, but K. Dot don’t even consider that an album.

That number 4 could also be hinting that King Kendrick is planning to drop the album in April, being that April is the fourth month of the year. For now it is all speculation. There is no release date, cover art (unless that is the cover art), no info really.

Somebody added fuel to the fire posing as ScHoolboy Q on Facebook and taking a shot at Drake by posting a caricature of the ‘More Life’ cover with a worried face. Q should it down quickly with a response at Twitter calling it “corny”.

ScHoolboy Q Performs “FDT” At “Blank Face Tour” Stop In Australia [PEEP]

screen-shot-2016-11-09-at-7-16-59-pm

Donald Trump’s presidential victory over Hilary Clinton has made several people angry including TDE rapper, ScHoolboy Q.

On a “Blank Face Tour” stop last night in Melbourne, Australia, Q voiced his displeasure with the new President of the United States by saying, “Donald Trump is now the punk-ass president,” and stating his skeptical stance on the people’s vote counting for anything.

“I don’t believe your vote count anymore. I don’t believe that,” he angrily said. “Each state, everywhere I go, I don’t know one person that says they were voting for Trump, including all my white friends…I don’t get it.”

ScHoolboy proceeded by peforming YG and Nipsey Hussle’s controversial “Fuck Donald Trump” song along with the crowd, who sang along. Watch the video below via his Instagram.

Luke Skiiwalker – “Toaster” Feat. ScHoolboy Q [VIDEO]

For some a “Toaster” is a electrical appliance used for toasting bread and other things. For TDE members, Lance Skiiwalker and ScHoolboy Q it is any area they can burn their weed and get baked.

In the animated video for Skiiwalker’s single off  ‘Introverted Intuition’, a one-“years”-old Q is held by a marijuana alien that Lance pinches buds off of to smoke up and create the “Toaster” effect.

ScHoolboy Q gives us the visuals for “Dope Dealer” featuring E-40 with a weed’s eye view.

Q, takes viewers through the different cycles of growing weed and the distribution process that makes him a “Dope Dealer.” The Ryan Staake-directed video also shows  ScHoolboy and 40 smoking in the studio and partying it up with some voluptuous strippers.

Watch ScHoolboy Q Perform “THat Part” On “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” [WATCH]

Yes, ScHoolboy Q was on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” about two weeks ago and you might’ve seen my post of him performing “Dope Dealer” with E-40. However, Kimmel never dropped the footage of Q performing “THat Part,” so Q posted it on his own channel.

ScHoolboy Q & Kendrick Lamar Connect At L.A. Rams Camp [VIDEO]

ScHoolboy Q looked like he was trying out to be the Los Angeles Rams’ Quarterback today, when he connected on a pass with fellow Black Hippy member, Kendrick Lamar.

K. Dot also made a clean catch, while attempting to stay inbounds.

With the Rams move to L.A., the team figures to see more celebrity action on the field and in the stands this coming season.

FUTURE DROPS TAPE WITH DJ ESCO

future-announces-project-e.t.

Future made noise on Twitter late last night when he hinted at a new mixtape.

However, nobody expected the FBG general to drop the tape less than 24 hours after teasing it on Twitter. It should come as no surprise as Future has always had a strong reputation for being a hard worker. This is the third tape he’s dropped this year along with ‘EVOL’ and ‘Purple Reign.’

‘Project E.T.: Esco Terrestrial’ mixtape is his offering to summer ’16. It has that natural trap feel with a handful of tracks that figure to light up the nightclubs all summer.

It comes loaded with features from Drake, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Lil’ Uzi Vert, Casey Veggies and more. Metro Boomin, DJ Mustard and Zaytoven also have production credits on the project.

Stream the full mixtape below.

KANYE WEST DROPS CONTROVERSIAL “FAMOUS” VIDEO

Initialize ads

Kanye West sold out the Forum in Los Angeles Friday night to premiere the video for his song “Famous.” The NSFW video has made waves on the Internet since pictures of celebrity bodies laying between satin white sheets have surfaced.

The familiar faces laying naked in the controversial video are: Kim K-West, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Donald Trump, Bill Cosby, George W. Bush, Anna Wintour, Caitlin Jenner, Ray J and Amber Rose.

Kanye is known for being controversial and thinking out of the box and loves being talked about hence his line “I’d be worried if they said nothing.”

What do you think the message on the video is? Tell us in the comments below.

DJ KHALED SHARES ALBUM ARTWORK

DJ Khaled has been “up to something” all year. The self-proclaimed Anthem King paid a visit to the ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ show to reveal the album cover for his forthcoming album, ‘Major Key.’

Khaled described the cover as “100% authentic” to what he represents from his “spiritual vibes” to his “believes” and positivity. Watch below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnl5IPIToHc

Khaled has already dropped the lead single off the album “For Free” featuring Drake and is expected to drop the second single “I Got The Keys” featuring Jay-Z and Future very soon or “soon come.”

‘Major Key’ will be available for pre-order Sunday, Jun 26 after the 2016 BET Awards. He also announced he will be dropping the “I Got The Keys” featuring Jay-Z and Future after the BET Awards on BET Sunday. The announcement was made on his Apple Music radio show, ‘We The Best Radio.’

SCHOOLBOY Q DROPS ‘BLANK FACE EP’ TRAILER

We’re a few weeks away from the release of ScHoolboy Q’s ‘Blank Face LP’ and Q gave us a preview for what’s to come with a cinematic trailer.

The trailer that is over a minute long shows Q running from the police, smoking a blunt with homies in his living room before his mom kicks them out and captures him behind bars. You’ll also see Q sporting a Houston Astros cap representing Hoover as he rides around the hood with some of his comrades.

It’ll be interesting to see if Q will release the album in a LEMONADE-isque fashion with full-length visuals.

Watch the trailer below.

The ‘Blank Face LP’ will be dropping July 8th.

LAKERS SELECT INGRAM WITH 2ND OVERALL PICK

The Lakers hit it big at the NBA Draft Lottery when they were awarded the 2nd overall pick. On Thursday the team turned that 2nd pick into Brandon Ingram out of Duke.

In a not so deep draft this year, Ingram was a major pick for the rebuilding Lakers, whom are in need of a big man.

It is not yet known if the 18-year-old will make the team this year or will be stashed overseas to work on his game. One thing is for sure that Lakerland is very optimistic of this pick and see Ingram as a foundation of the future.
