New Music: Dillion Francis – “Say Less” Feat. G-Eazy [LISTEN]

G-Eazy expands his horizons as he hooks up with Dillion Francis for the EDM-happy tune “Say Less”. Last week the Oakland rapper dropped a collaborative mixtape called ‘Step Brothers’ with another EDM giant, DJ Carnage.

The bouncy tune has G-Eazy rapping about his beloved city of Oakland over the trappy, electronic Dillion Francis-production. For Francis, this is the first release under his newly-found IDGAFOS label. Francis dropped the song with a colorful lyric video that shows balloons happily bouncing around on bodies.

New Music: P-Lo – “Always” Feat. Rexx Life Raj [LISTEN]

A day after announcing his forthcoming album ‘More Than Anything’, P-Lo shares the first single off the album “Always” featuring his fellow Bay Area brother, Rexx Life Raj.

Over the smooth, catchy CAL-A production, P-Lo raps about the ups-and-downs of a relationship and how it’s “back-and-forth like a tennis game that we playin’ in.” P-Lo then continues with an introspective look at things questioning himself by singing, “why can’t I be right?”

In an interview with THE FADER, P-Lo described ‘More Than Anything’ as, “…showing all the layers I have as a human and artist,” said the Pinole product in an told email response. “I’m a hyphy ball of energy but some people think I’m all slaps – I’m going to show them that I can do more than that.”

‘More Than Anything’ will follow last year’s ‘Before Anything’. As of now there is no release date, in the mean time listen to “Always” below via SoundCloud.

Khalid Performs “Location” On “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” [WATCH]

Making his daytime television debut, Texas vocalist, Khalid performed his highly-acclaimed “Location” single on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”.

Backed by a band and glimmering blue lights, the R&B sensation serenaded Ellen and the audience with continuous vocals. During the performance, Khalid also gave the audience a preview of his dance moves that correlate with the band.

The 19-year-old Khalid has been climbing. “Location” has been sitting steadily on the Billboard Hot 100 and recent remix featuring Lil Wayne and Kehlani surfaced. The singer also shared that he dropped some vocals on Kendrick Lamar’s recent “The Heart Part 4” single.

“Location” is a single off Khalid’s debut album ‘American Teen’. Watch the performance below.

New Music: Gucci Mane – “Pardon Me” Feat. Rocko [LISTEN]

Gucci Mane is one of the hardest working men in the music industry. He’s proven that when he’s focused he’s capable to do anything. Following the release of his “Drop Top Wizop Freestyle,” GuWop drops a new single called “Pardon Me” featuring Rocko.

Wop and Rocko ask for forgiveness over the 808 Mafia-production. The booming, bass-heavy track stays true to that A-Town trap music sound. Both rappers had a long standing beef that was recently buried at the SuperBowl. This is their first collaboration since squashing the beef.

Gucci is kicking off his “Trap God Tour” today.

Kanye West’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ Becomes First Stream-Only Album To Go Platinum [PEEP]

Kanye West continues his ‘The Life Of Pablo’ dominance by going certified platinum. In doing so, the album becomes the first-ever, stream-only album to earn an RIAA platinum certification.

Although the album was released last February, it earned the certification after it achieved over 3-billion streams according to a press release from Def Jam. The streams equate to 1-million equivalent album sales. Last year the album became the first-ever stream-only album to reach the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

The “living album” was exclusively released on TIDAL before being available on other streaming services a month later. It had several alterations, updates, and different versions of certain songs with different features. It was innovative in the sense that it went through different transformations and was a working piece of art.

Beyoncé Unleashes New Single & Video “Die With You” For Jay-Z [PEEP]

For Beyoncé and Jay-Z today marks their ninth wedding anniversary. To celebrate their love, Yoncé releases the updated version of her 2015 love ballad, “Die With You.” Along with the single, Queen Bey dropped an extended video with never before seen footage of their wedding and more.

The intimate footage includes clips of the two vacationing, driving around, their wedding, Blue Ivy’s birth, and shows Beyoncé sitting behind the piano, hitting the keys as she sings, “I don’t have a reason to cry / I have every reason to smile / I don’t have a reason to lie / When you’re already reading my mind / I don’t have a reason to be, if I can’t be with you.”

Aside from the video, Bey also shared a  TIDAL playlist called “IV EVER EVER” for Hov, that includes some of their collaborations and other love songs.

In just a few days Joey Bada$$ will drop his second studio album, ‘All-Amerikkkan Bada$$’. To promote the forthcoming project, Joey performed the socially-conscious, politically-charged single, “Land of the Free” on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

Rocking a white hoodie and the same “Amerkkkan” flag that is featured on his album cover, the “All-Amerikkkan Bada$$” ran through his single backed by a band, DJ, and red, white, and blue flickering lights.

The “Land of the Free” single talks about the State of the Union, declares Barack Obama wasn’t enough, and attacks Donald Trump by saying he isn’t fit to be the President of the United States. Watch the performance below.

Desiigner Drops “Thank God I Got It” & “Up” [LISTEN]

A few weeks ago G.O.O.D. Music rapper, Desiigner dropped the single “Holy Ghost,” where he gets personal and fights his demons. Today, he delivers two new motivating singles called “Thank God I Got It” and “Up”.

The energetic rapper praises the most high on the first single “Thank God I Got It”. On it he thanks God for his success and being able to do what he loves for a living. The grateful single also includes references to D.R.A.M. and Lil Yachty’s “Broccoli” and more.

On the Juicy J-produced “Up,” Desiigner raps about holding it down, getting rich, and more. The single sounds like a celebration anthem and is sure to light up the clubs like his other previous singles.

New Video: Dave East – “Paper Chasin” Feat. A$AP Ferg [WATCH]

Fresh off their Def Jam’s ‘Direct Deposit, Vol. 2′ collaboration, Dave East and A$AP Ferg drop the video for their “Paper Chasin” single.

The video was directed by Kid Art and shows both New York rappers plotting to go “Paper Chasin”. Equipped with semi-automatic guns, ski mask and bandana, the rappers take cops on a high speed pursuit before getting into a deadly shootout. The duo eventually successfully evade police and make out with the money.

Dave East dropped a freestyle over Drake’s “Free Smoke” over the weekend and is working on his next mixtape, ‘Paranoia’. A$AP Ferg will be hitting the road with Future, Young Thug, Migos, Tory Lanez, and Kodak Black for the “Nobody Safe Tour,”  starting May 4th in Memphis, Tennessee.

Gucci Mane is gearing up for his first album of 2017 ‘Drop Top Wop’. In solidarity with the upcoming release, GuWop drops the Murda Beatz-produced “Drop Top Wizop Freestyle,” where he freely raps about women, riches, success, and enemies.

GuWop has been staying busy since his “First Day Out Tha Feds.” Last year he dropped three albums and a mixtape and is showing no signs of slowing down. He recently dropped the video for “Make Love” featuring Nicki Minaj, was featured on Mike WiLL Made-It’s ‘Ransom 2’ album, Ricky Rozay’s album and is working on an independent film with The Bawse.

Starting tomorrow Wop will begin his first-ever headlining tour, “The Trap God Tour,” which runs till May 6th in Austin. Playboi Carti and Dreezy will join “The Trap God” on the hike.

Just a few weeks ago Travis Scott’s “Goosebumps” single featuring Kendrick Lamar earned a platinum plaque. The Houston rapper celebrates the success by partnering with Apple Music to exclusively drop the psychedelic visuals for the highly-touted single.

The BRTHR-directed video takes viewers into another world with a plethora of trippy effects and situations that are guaranteed to give you “Goosebumps”. With girls dancing on poles a fight breaks out, resulting in a group of masked men drawing their guns. The video goes onto show the chaos filled with fire, skeletons, explosions, snakes, and more.

The certified-platinum single is off last year’s ‘Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight’ album. LaFlame will take the “Goosebumps” over to Coachella on April 12th and 21st, while he continues his “Birds Eye View” trek. Watch the video below exclusively on Apple Music.

Dave East covers Drake’s “Free Smoke” off the critically-acclaimed ‘More Life’ album. With his freestyle, East gives his take on baby mama rumors, “Love & Hip-Hop”, LeBron James’ “ugly” face, Donald Trump, Ricky Rozay’s beef with Bidrman, and declares Ross has the “hardest album out.”

The East Harlem rapper also says who’s music he prefers to play during his sexual encounters and plugs his endorsers, Ethika by rapping, “Never claimed to be a legend in this rap game / I just let the people say it / I fuck your bitch with Tory Lanez on / Only Ethika, no Hanes on.”
