Up-and-coming Fresno crooner Kenneth Paige connected with Canadian artist Kiki Rowe a few months ago for his vibey track, “Lemonade”. Today we are premiering the quarantine-friendly video for it.
Directed by myself, the video highlights the times we live in during the pandemic as KP connects with Kiki on a FaceTime call, while they enjoy some Hennessy and make the most out their quarantine.
“Lemonade” is the first single off KP’s upcoming project ‘PCH’, which will be dropping soon.
Big Sean is back with a new powerful track called “Deep Reverence” that features a posthumous verse from the late, great Nipsey Hussle.
Hussle Man starts the song with a verse discussing his upbringing in an environment surrounded by his hometown 60’s Crips.
Sean Don shares a lot on the track as he mentions Nipsey’s untimely death and reaching out to K.Dot as a result after regarding his rumored beef with the TDE star. The Detroit rapper also talks about his struggle with mental health and reveals that he and Jhene Aiko had a miscarriage.
Ultimately, the song ends with a snippet of Nipsey Hussle’s interview stating that he wanted to collaborate with Big Sean and other Detroit rappers.
“Deep Reverence” will be featured on Big Sean’s upcoming album ‘Detroit 2’, which is executive produced by Hit-Boy and Kanye West. The long-awaited album is slated to release on September 4th.
This is romance for the ride or die relationships, for the girls that hide your drugs and stash the pistol in their purse when 12 try to f**k with you. Rucci got one for the heartbreak and the thots with his new one, “Killa.”
Tuck & Holiday flip Zapp & Roger’s “Computer Love” for Rucci and produce a banger. Rucci takes a Bone Thuggish cadence and expands it into something brand new for the hook.
The video features the ups and downs of a couple, from fucking to fighting, as Rucci narrates his raps in the room as if he wasn’t even there. But the highlight of the video gotta be when Inglewood’s finest sets the tone by dancing with his shirt off in the rain in front of a big body Benz.
Blxst takes you on a ride through his neighborhood in the visuals for his new song, “Overrated”.
Expect old school classic convertibles, blue California skies and long streets lined with tall palm trees. Blxst sings about the things that truly matter to him and puts his values on the line.
A smooth soulful record like this is perfect for the backyard boogie as night starts falling. One listen and you can tell cuffing season is quickly approaching. Anything outside of this right here is overrated.
Fresh off the release of his newest project ‘King’s Disease’, Nas and his KD close hand producer Hit-Boy discussed the coming together to create the latest body of work.
Coming up under hip-hop pioneers who created and paved the way for artists like Nas to establish career longevity, the “Ultra Black” emcee tips his hat to those before him and also spoke on how rappers of his prime cultivated the genre of reality hip-hop but elevated rap’s popularity. As Nas and Hit-boy connected for the project, the Grammy wining and go-to Los Angeles producer explained that his work with the late Juice WRLD inspired his momentum for creating the sound and depth of Nas’ 13th studio release.
As Nas came under much scrutiny for his lead single “Ultra Black” seemingly, what many believed, taking aim at rapper Doja Cat, the hip-hop veteran took a moment to clear the air to note that there was no harm or disrespect meant behind the lyrics.
Nas goes on to talk the meaning behind the project’s title, reconnecting with Foxxy Brown and The Firm, confesses that he believes his album ‘Life Is Good’ was slept on, and much more.

Fivio Foreign flexes his accomplishments on his new one “13 Going On 30.”
Equipped with a visual, the Brooklyn drill rapper came through with a sincere delivery contrary to his well-known unrelenting drill style of rap.
He talks about the challenges he faced to become successful and stunts on people who had doubts about him. In the visual, Fivio flexes with his collection of jewelry and luxurious cars while giving a shout out to the late Pop Smoke at the end.
The track is the lead single for his upcoming album titled ‘B.I.B.L.E’.
Future and Swae Lee join forces with Internet Money on the new track called “Thrusting.”
The track was shared by Internet Money Records, a collective group of artists and producers that have helped create hits for several artists such as the late Juice WRLD and Trippie Redd.
Swae Lee provides a melodic vocal throughout the song that will surely grab your attention. Meanwhile, Future came through with a fire verse accompanied by his sing-song style of rapping.
The song will be on Internet Money’s upcoming project titled ‘B4 The Storm’, which is slated to release on August 28th.
Pharrell and Jay-Z confront systemic racism on their latest collaboration, “Entrepreneur.”
Accompanied by a music video, the track talks about how hard it is to be an entrepreneur in our country especially for people of color. Skateboard P specifically talks about racial inequalities through his verse while Hov addresses the deprivation of equal representation for minorities in the media.
Black empowerment is being addressed in the music video as it highlights several successful black men and women such as Tyler, The Creator, Issa Rae, my guy Hugh Augustin, and others.
Overall, the track is definitely what we need at this time as it champions black-owned businesses and while also confronting systemic disadvantages for people of color.
Nas and Hit-Boy take it back to real hip-hop with the release of the legend’s new album ‘King’s Disease’.
The album contains several guest appearances from Big Sean, Anderson .Paak, Fivio Foreign, Don Toliver, Hit-Boy, and A$AP Ferg. Throughout the whole project, the legendary New York rapper shows how he still has the Midas touch when it comes to rapping bar by bar.
He does not need clout or jack flows to go with the trend as his lyrical talent speaks for itself. Combined with Hit-Boy’s production on each track, Nas certainly outdid himself with this one and came through with straight heat no gimmick. Ultimately, this album will definitely give you some old-school hip-hop nostalgia that you rarely see nowadays.
Seems like 03 Greedo has some more heat for his fans to listen to after recently dropping his latest project ‘Load It Up Vol 1’ with Ron-Ron The Producer.
The Grape Street rapper delivers a new track titled “Lie To Me,” which interpolates J Lo’s classic song “If You Had My Love.” On the track, 03 Greedo comes through with a melodic hook while talking about making love to a female.
Greedo mentioned that this track was the most necessary song on the tape but was cleared off the final tracklist due to sample clearance issues.
