Drake Brought Out J. Cole, Dipset, Terror Squad & T.I. At Summer Sixteen Tour In NYC

wp-1461594034902

Drake ended his final “Summer Sixteen” NYC show last night with some major stunting in front of a sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden.

Drizzy kept the crowd on their feet and roaring as he surprised them by bringing out J. Cole, Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, Fat Joe, Remy Ma and T.I. to grace the stage. In doing so he used the opportunity to throw more shade at HOT 97 by saying his final night at the garden was “the real Summer Jam.” Ouch.

The beef between the station and the Toronto rapper has definitely been cooking, as Flex used his radio show Saturday night to come at the 6 God with an over 20-minute rant. In the rant Flex questioned Drake’s street cred, fan base, freestyling and writing skills, in addition to other things.

J. Cole who’s had a close relationship with Drake through their careers performed “A Tale of 2 Citiez,” “No Role Modelz” and “Planez.”

Drizzy went on to glorify light-skinned Jermaine by calling him “one of the smartest, greatest, most legendary artists of our generation.”

Dipset came out to rock their city by performing the reminiscent crowd favorites “Hey Ma,” “Oh Boy” and “Dipset Anthem”

Fat Joe and Remy Ma blessed the stage by performing one of the hottest songs of the summer in “All The Way Up.”

Tip did his thing by bringing his energy to “What You Know,” “Whatever You Like,” “Live Your Life,” and “Bring Em Out.”

Drake added fuel to his HOT 97 beef by popping $7,000 bottles of Ace of Spades with the Breakfast Club’s C Tha God, who he once had a long-standing feud with as well.

Pretty much sums it up @cthagod NEW YORK NIGHT FOUR THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT

History don’t get made unless we make it. Salute @champagnepapi great show tonight.

You know what they say, your enemies, enemies are your friends. Guess Drizzy dislikes Flex more than Charlamagne. Bold move.

President Barack Obama jammed out to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” before hitting the stage at the Democratic National Convention. “Lose Yourself” has always been motivational music for myself, so I can see why Obama picked this before he gave his speech. It’s also no secret Barack loves the hip-hop culture. He recently invited Kendrick Lamar and Beyonce to the White House for his birthday bash!
