The SPOTLIGHT is a column video series that the people over at GoodFellaMedia have started doing, dedicated to highlighting the behind-the-scenes (radio, magazine/blog writers, directors, photographers, etc.) individuals that don’t normally get the spotlight. These are the people that they feel strongly impact the culture of music and “make things happen”.

Up first is Toshitaka Kondo, Senior Editor at Complex Magazine. Watch above and hear him speak on his finance degree, how he got started in the industry, and his experiences in hip-hop culture in general.

This is a great idea and should prove to be a really interesting series. If you are in this industry or want to be, its definitely a must watch.
