It’s a L.A. connection on Jhene Aiko’s “Never Call Me (Remix),” where she connects with YG. The original version of the song includes a feature from Kurupt and was on last year’s ‘Trip’ album.
On the week before his highly-anticipated ‘Stay Dangerous’ album drops, YG unleashes his newest single “Handgun,” where he unloads some hard lyrics with his collaborator A$AP Rocky.
The single was accompanied with the visuals in which YG plays a “Drip Instructor” at Kamp Drip and orders his soldiers to “Drip Everyday. The new recruits follow suit while the Bompton rapper pulls out guns from vending machines.

YG has already announced a headlining “Stay Dangerous” concert and 4Hunnid clothing fashion show at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 5th. Tickets went on sale last week and there is still more available. More info below.
YG shows how “Big Bank takes lil’ bank” in the video for his star-studded “Big Bank” single featuring Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, and 2 Chainz. The celebratory clip gives viewers a glimpse of the collaborator’s lavish lifestyle.
After weeks of teasing the remix of his hit-single “Plug Walk,” Rich The Kid unleashes the remix, where he connects with Gucci Mane, YG, and 2 Chainz.
Rich kicks off the track with a reworked verse and is followed by Gucci, who pays homage to Snoop Dogg and says “Fuck New Balance.” YG then follows with raps about his Blood allegiance and painting his Maybach red for his gang. Chainz closes things out with a semi-bilingual flow.
San Diego talent, Will Claye broke out on YG’s “IDGAF” single, which has amassed over 53-million views on YouTube. The former track star traded in his track shoes after winning three Olympic medals for a microphone and has been focusing on music since.
Looking to have the same success in hip-hop that he did on the track, Will drops his two-track visual project ‘KARMONY’. The EP includes the upbeat singles “Father” and “Celebrate Life,” which are both accompanied by visuals.
May was a LIT month as far as music releases go and to celebrate it, I’ve put together a playlist with all the hottest tracks that came out of this month. The playlist includes heat from Drake, J. Cole, Pusha T, Future, Travis Scott, Post Malone, YG, Jay Rock, and many more.
Stay tuned for more heat next month and a playlist to recap as it is looking to be filled with star-studded album releases.
It’s not quite summer yet but things are already beginning to heat up with YG releasing the second single off his forthcoming ‘Stay Dangerous’ album. With Mustard handling the production, YG assembles his hip-hop dream team of 2 Chainz, Big Sean, and Nicki Minaj for “Big Bank.”
“Big Bank” follows “Suu Whoop” off the rapper’s ‘Stay Dangerous’ that is expected to be released sometime this summer. Stay tuned for more updates. In the meantime blast this in your car, party, everywhere.
We’re only a few days away from Mother’s Day and to celebrate the upcoming holiday, 2 Chainz and YG took over the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to perform a live rendition of “Proud.” Without Offset, who is also featured on the song Tity Boi and YG were joined by their moms on stage. The video for the single also included a cameo from each rapper’s mom.
Turning up with their mommas is what 2 Chainz, YG, and Offset do, as they let it be known where they got their hustle and ambition from in the “Proud” music video.
Directed by Howard Ross the visuals show each rapper alongside their momma. Each mom raps their sons verse as they are showed dressed like them as well. Tity Boy’s mom is draped in Gucci as is Chainz, while YG’s mom is flamed up and repping 4Hunnid. Offset’s mom meanwhile stays true to the Migos’ way as she counts bundles of cash.
“Proud” is off Hairweavekiller’s ‘The Play Don’t Care Who Makes’ EP but could ultimately land on his forthcoming ‘Rap or Go to the League’ album, which is expected to drop later this year.
Days after beginning the rollout for his upcoming ‘Midnight Zone’ album with the release of “4 Days” featuring YG, Belly unleashes the visuals for the banging DJ Mustard-produced single.
Directed by Millicent Hailes, the video is shot in an L.A. smoke-filled, neon-lit warehouse, where Belly smokes on cigars, as dancers do what they do best. Meanwhile YG puts on for the west side with fancy classic cars and more models. The clip includes some special effects and trippy transitions, which can be seen throughout.
“4 Days” is the first single off Belly’s ‘Midnight Zone’ album that will include additional features from The Weeknd, Ty Dolla $ign, Pharrell Williams, French Montana, and Nav. The release date is still to be announced.
Looking to continue his lyrical prowess from last year’s ‘Mumble Rap’ EP, Belly takes a trip to the West Coast for his new single “4 Days” that features YG and is produced by none other than fellow RocNation signee, DJ Mustard.
Belly uses Mustard’s signature banging production to rap about a woman that he used to want but has changed his stance on, rapping, “Thinking you a bad bitch / Really, you just doing bad, bitch / Fronted on me when I ain’t had shit / Until I came up like a savage.”
YG uses his verse to do the same as he goes off on a female that “fronted” on him rapping, “I tell her she can fuck up my life / Just don’t fuck up my cash flow … You did me wrong when I ain’t had shit / God don’t like ugly, you a bad bitch.”
This single figures to be the first single on Belly’s next project, which Jay-Z might be helping out on after a video and image appeared of them in the studio together.
Showing his true colors, YG shares the video for his recently-released, set-reppin’ “Suu Whoop” single.
Directed by GoodBoyShady, the video is heavily lit with red fluorescent lights, red Chuck Taylors, homies repping red, and different low riders. Going between black-and-white and full color, the video shows hood life with dice games, fights, a house party in the projects, and more.
