It was a real moment for me, man. I’ve performed once with Slaughterhouse and Marshall in Detroit. It was totally different with no crowd interruption, seeing all of them go through their bars and seeing Marshall that close and do his verse. It was a real moment. I had my verse ready and I went first but no one had heard anything from anybody. We were like, ‘Are you good with your verse?’ ‘Yeah I’m good with mine.’ ‘How many bars you got?’ I set it off and I was watching them go in and Marshall as the closer, definitely wanted to make me go rewrite. I was just honored to be a part of it. What better timing, my album’s coming out in November. It’s just perfect.
