The XO team has no plans of slowing down on the promotion of the Canadian duo known as 88Glam. The one-two punch comprised of Derek Wise and 88 Camino drop the second installment of their self-titled series.
On ’88GLAM2′ Gunna appears on “Racks” and fellow XO squad member NAV comes through on “It’s A Flex.” These guys have definitely been slept on but it’s time to wake up don’t snooze any longer.
NAV doesn’t waste any time getting his birthday started with some new music. On the eve of his born day, the XO signee drops his new single “Know Me” where he refuses to hold back on his flexing with braggadocio bars.
The first time Belly blessed our platform was early in our L.A. Leakers freestyle series on #Freestyle004. The critically-acclaimed freestyle was praised by many including hip-hop legend, Jay-Z. It’s only right we brought the Canadian spitter back for round 2 on #Freestyle060.
Over Drake’s Boi-1da-produced “Free Smoke” instrumental Belly spits hard-hitting bars that are guaranteed to keep your head bobbing throughout. This sequel definitely changed the narrative that all sequels are bad.
XO signee Nav released his debut album ‘Reckless’ and it received mixed reviews from critics. Looking to promote it he drops the visuals for the title track “Reckless,” which includes footage from his recent tour.
When Belly announced his new single “What You Want” with The Weeknd, you should’ve known a hit was imminent. The track has turned into the most added song on radio across the country and should get bigger with the visuals which dropped today.
Directed by Colin Tiley, the dark, psychedelic video was primarily shot at an operational penitentiary. The brXOthers get things going in a pyramid within the prison grounds before riding out in a red convertible.
“What You Want” is the third single off Belly’s forthcoming ‘Midnight Zone’ album that will also include “4 Days” featuring YG and “Maintain” featuring Nav. Having heard the album from front-to-back, I can tell you it’s pure fire and blends both Belly’s lyrical and melodic abilities.
Being signed to The Weeknd’s XO label has really raised Toronto crooner Nav’s value and his audience as well. After dropping his debut mixtape and teaming up with Metro Boomin’ for their ‘Perfect Timing’ project, Nav unleashes his debut album ‘Reckless’.
The album includes previously-released singles like “Wanted You” featuring Lil Uzi Vert and “Champion” featuring Travis Scott. Other artists featured on the project are Quavo on “Faith” and Gunna on “Eat.” A track called “Freshman List,” where he comes for XXL’s list is also on the album.
Looking to push forward his new material, The Weeknd releases a short film for his ‘My Dear Melancholy,’ single, “He Was Never There” featuring French DJ Gesaffelstein.
Abel dropped two vertical videos last month along with the new project, but this time he gets deeper with it as he gives fans a mini-documentary type of visual. The grainy clip takes viewers behind-the-scenes into The Weeknd’s studio sessions. It shows different takes, moments, conversations he has in the booth.
Throughout the video a voice narrates different parts of the video, explaining how the entire ‘My Dear Melancholy,’ EP came to fruition in “a month-and-a-half” and how it is about “cultivating” the XO star’s thoughts.
Next up for The Weeknd he will be performing at Coachella weekend 1 this weekend. There has also been rumors swirling of two more installments of the EP coming out. We will see if that turns out to be a truth or not soon.
Without any promotion or lead single The Weeknd releases his surprise ‘My Dear Melancholy,’ EP, putting his fans in complete pandemonium.
‘My Dear Melancholy,’ follows 2016’s ‘Starboy’ album and comes complete with 6-tracks and only has a feature from French DJ, Gesaffelstein. Meanwhile Gesaffelstein contributes with production as well, along with Mike WiLL Made-It, Skrillex, and Frank Dukes.
This EP is reminiscent of Abel’s older offerings like ‘Trilogy’ and ‘Kiss Land’ with dark lyrics and evocative songs like “Privilege,” “Call Out My Name,” and “Try Me.”
Travis Scott raved about The Weeknd’s album earlier this month on Twitter saying, “Abel new album is scray It’s like when I first heard him for the first time. Fuckkkkkk !!!!!” That could be a sign that we might get an album before The Weeknd takes the stage at Coachella in mid April.
Nearly a year from spitting venom on his viral L.A. Leakers #Freestyle004, Belly came back to check in with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk on the Power 106 #LIFTOFF show.
The XO multi-talented artist caught Creddy and Milk up about his studio session with Jay-Z, idolizing The Notorious B.I.G., having no mercy for rappers disrespecting 2-Pac, working on his upcoming ‘Midnight Zone’ album, the infamous L.A. Leakers freestyle, and the impact it had on his career.

Days after beginning the rollout for his upcoming ‘Midnight Zone’ album with the release of “4 Days” featuring YG, Belly unleashes the visuals for the banging DJ Mustard-produced single.
Directed by Millicent Hailes, the video is shot in an L.A. smoke-filled, neon-lit warehouse, where Belly smokes on cigars, as dancers do what they do best. Meanwhile YG puts on for the west side with fancy classic cars and more models. The clip includes some special effects and trippy transitions, which can be seen throughout.
“4 Days” is the first single off Belly’s ‘Midnight Zone’ album that will include additional features from The Weeknd, Ty Dolla $ign, Pharrell Williams, French Montana, and Nav. The release date is still to be announced.
Although the single was released about a year ago, Nav drops the visuals for “Myself” off his self-titled, debut project, ‘Nav’.
In the Alex Lill-directed video the L.A. Leakers “Indie Pick of the Week” alumnist, gets trippy with different vibrant colors, psychedelic effects, and pill showers. As the rapper sings about his enemies, pouring up lean, drugs, and more he reflects with two twin models by his side, or is it one? You decide.
Fresh off the “Rubba Band Business Tour” with Juicy J, Belly pulled up on Sourmilk and Justin to spit some ferocious bars. The freestyle follows King Los’ freestyle and is part 4 of the series. Watch Belly go off in the video below.
With plenty of beautiful models around them, Nav and The Weeknd vibe out in the provocative video for “Some Way.”
The RJ Sanchez-directed video catches both XO artists at a photoshoot, where the models get their makeup, hair, wardrobe fixings, while even popping some XO pills before they hit the set.
“Some Way” is off Nav’s self-titled, debut mixtape.
