Smoke DZA Drops New EP ‘Free Smoke’ [LISTEN]

Earlier this year Smoke DZA blazed an L.A. Leakers freestyle and proceeded to drop his fire album, ‘Not For Sale’. Today he makes his return from a short hiatus by dropping a three track EP entitled, ‘Free Smoke’.

DZA has never had a problem getting features to help bring his tracks to life and on these two new ones that’s exactly what he does. On the first track “Fiscal Thoughts” he nabs Wale and Phil Ade for a smooth track and something to ride out to. “Get You Some” features L.A.’s Buddy and on the third track “Energy” he goes in on his lonely.

Smoke DZA Spits Fire Over JAY Z’s “So Ghetto” On #Freestyle046 [WATCH]

Harlem spitter Smoke DZA came through the #LIFTOFF to put his lyrical abilities on display for Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk. Rapping over JAY Z’s classic “So Ghetto,” Smoke showed what he was made of and torched the instrumental.

New Music: Smoke DZA – “The Mood” Feat. Joey Bada$$ [LISTEN]

Smoke DZA and Joey Bada$$ appear to be on a mission of keeping real hip-hop alive. Over a 183rd-reproduced track of Kanye West’s classic “Guess Who’s Back,” the Kushed God and Badmon showcase their lyrical abilities and spit some solid bars on “The Mood.”

This track starts the roll out campaign for DZA’s forthcoming ‘Not For Sale’ album, which is set to be released on April 20th.

Smoke DZA Previews New Tracks (ft. Ab-Soul, A$AP Rocky & more) & Interviews w/ XclusivesZone (Video)

Smoke DZA talks wrestling and shares words of wisdom with XclusivesZone’s David Downer. As for as mixtapes go, the Harlem rapper said to expect R.F.C. (Smoke DZA, Al-Doe, NYMLo, Chase N. Cashe, Den10, Bluntsmoker, Mookie Jones, producer 183rd and DJ Will Gates) compilation out soon and George Kush Da Button 2 in the summer. At the end of the interview, DZA previews a few tracks that hold features from Troy Ave (well that one is playing the background of the interview), Big K.R.I.T., Ab-Soul and A$AP Rocky.
