Meek Mill Shares Release Date & Cover Art For Forthcoming Album ‘Wins & Losses’ [PEEP]

meek-mill-wins-losses

Originally announced by Rick Ross, Meek Mill’s third studio album ‘Wins & Losses’ has been given a release date of July 21st.

Meek has given fans two projects already this year and he recently revealed he was working on a DreamChasers compilation. On ‘Wins & Losses’ Meek said he’s “…just breaking down the wins & losses of my life.”

“It’s all about what molded me into being Meek Mill today and the trials and tribulations of my life that made me bigger and better,” he went on to say.

https://twitter.com/MeekMill/status/884416811319517184?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rap-up.com%2F2017%2F07%2F10%2Fmeek-mill-announces-wins-losses-release-date%2F

‘Wins & Losses’ follows Meek’s 2015 sophomore album ‘Dreams Worth More Than Money’, which earned a gold certification. Last year Meek also dropped ‘DC4’ and soon-after mentioned he would be releasing ‘DC4.5’. With this album it is unclear if that will still happen.

The album will be accompanied by a Spike Jordan-directed short film that will bring the album to life with clips of a “moving story exposing events often experienced by young black Americans.”

It is expected that ‘Wins & Losses’ will include recently-released singles like the DJ Mustard-produced “Whatever You Need” featuring Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign, The-Dream-assisted “Young Black America,” and C-Note-produced “Glow Up.”

Meek is currently on his “Against All Odds Tour” with Yo Gotti, YFN Lucci, and Moneybagg Yo.

New Music: Meek Mill – “Whatever You Need” Feat. Chris Brown & Ty Dolla $ign [LISTEN]

meek-mill-whatever-you-need-feat-chris-brown-ty-dolla-sign

It appears Meek Mill will be dropping his forthcoming ‘Wins & Losses’ album sooner than later. The MMG rapper has been dropped a lot of new music lately and tonight he returns with his latest single “Whatever You Need”.

Consisting of contributions from Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign, the DJ Mustard-produced single samples Tony Toni Toné’s classic “Whatever You Want” joint. With the crazy combination the new track figures to get heavy radio play across the nation. I also envision the single hitting the Billboard Hot 100 chart in no time.

“Whatever You Need” is expected to land on Meek’s ‘Wins & Losses’ album, which currently has no release date. Starting July 5th Meek will venture with Yo Gotti, YFN Lucci, and Moneybagg Yo on the “Against All Odds Tour”.

Listen to “Whatever You Need’ below.

Rick Ross Shares Meek Mill’s Next Album Title [PEEP]

Meek-Mill-Rick-Ross

During a series of motivational and uplifting videos on his SnapChat, Rick Ross revealed what Meek Mill’s third studio album will be titled and explained why it is very fitting for Meek’s situation.

“I love the name of Meek’s new album, ‘Wins & Losses’, because that’s what it’s about, n****a,” he said while preaching positivity. “You just gotta add up more wins. You’re gonna lose…But that’s why I tell y’all. Make sure y’all get it.”

It is unclear whether ‘Wins & Losses’ will come before or after ‘DC4.5’, which Meek has been relentlessly working on. The new album will follow 2015’s ‘Dreams Worth More Than Money’ and if the recent singles Meek has released are indicators of what to expect, it should be a success.

Milly is getting ready to begin his co-headlining “Against All Odds Tour” with Yo Gotti kicking off July 5th in Cleveland, Ohio. YFN Lucci and Moneybagg Yo will also be riding along for the tour.

New Video: Meek Mill – “Glow Up” [WATCH]

meek-mill-glow-up-video

All it took was one day for Meek Mill to drop the visuals to his latest single “Glow Up”. The Will Ngo-directed video shows footage of Meek Mill’s birthday, from flying on a private jet with friends to the Dominican Republic where he dances with a group of Mariachis on the tarmac that are eagerly waiting on his arrival.

Meek also is shown doing some reflecting looking back on turning 30-years-old, what he’s accomplished, where he’s came from, and how many from his neighborhood don’t see 30.

“When you’re 17, you be like, ‘I wondered what I’m gon’ be like when I’m 30…Matter fact, don’t even think about it. You ain’t turnin’ 30. You’ll probably get killed.’ That’s how I always used to think and now, we’re here. I’m turning 30 on a jet, 30,000 feet in the air,” he says in the video.
