In the romantic video, Meek Mill spontaneously drops in on a love interest, who he’s crushing hard on. Meek is also shown draped in dirt bike gear in a Philly neighborhood, where he takes a stroll down memory lane with his beautiful girl. If it’s a problem Tee Grizzley and Meek Mill aren’t shying away from it. With explicit, violent lyrics the collaborators go back-and-forth in full detail of how they handle any “Beef” that rivals bring their way.

“Beef” is produced by Helluva, whom also produced Grizzley’s infamous “First Day Out” single. It’s unclear where this single will land, but it certainly sounds like it won’t just be a loosie and could end up on a future Grizzley project.

In the midst of heavy racial tension across the country, Meek Mill and The-Dream performed their politically-driven single, “Young Black America” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

With fellow Philly representers, The Roots backing Meek and Dream, the duo looked to address the current tension with a melodic performance of the ‘Wins & Losses’ standout single. In the performance a young African-American boy sits at a desk and watches the performance, clinging onto every word.

Shortly after the performance in NYC, Meek Mill was arrested for alleged reckless endangerment, while riding a dirt bike and popping wheelies, leading to two misdemeanors. The charges have since been dropped by the DA and Meek is a free man.

meek-mill-wins-losses

For Meek Mill the past couple years haven’t been the easiest. He’s taken a fair amount of losses from losing his artist and lil homie, Snupe to being humiliated on the Internet for his beef with Drake, and breaking up with Nicki Minaj. On his third studio album, which he considers his fourth, Meek tackles every topic that has surrounded him. Over 17-tracks, the MMG spitter breaks down his ups and downs, while reintroducing himself as a new person that his trials and tribulations have created.

Meek calls on some heavyweights for features on the album, which include Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign on “Whatever You Need,” Rick Ross and Yo Gotti on “Connect the Dots,” Young Thug on “We Ball,” Lil Uzi Vert on “F**k That Check Up,”and more.

This week Meek has been releasing parts of a short film leading up to the album, that tell the story of a man losing his brother. Watch here.
