Birdman Says Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter V’ Will Be Released This Year [PEEP]

There’s been a longstanding beef and battle between Young Money’s Lil Wayne and Cash Money head-honcho Birdman about the release of Weezy’s long-awaited, anticipated ‘Tha Carter V’ album. That may be coming to an end with Stunna guaranteeing the album will drop this year.

In an interview with Rap-Up, where he promoted his Apple Music “Before Anythang: The Cash Money Story,” Birdman got candid about his relationship with Wayne and revealed that he will be freeing ‘Tha Carter V’ and said “it’s gonna be the biggest album of 2018.”

“We’ll get that this year, I’m guaranteeing you gon’ get it this year,” he said.

“He is the best ever to me. A lot of success comes from under his umbrella. I think it’s gonna be the biggest album of 2018, one of them. Without a doubt. It’s gonna be well worth the wait,” he continued, assuring the release further.

The album’s delay caused a tension amongst Wayne and Baby and led to a $51-million lawsuit against Cash Money. Rick Ross also got involved in the beef by coming at Birdman for not paying Wayne and holding onto the album.

Let’s wait and see what happens with this. Tell us in the comments below if you’re still care about the album or if it’s already passed its time.

New Music: Lil Wayne – “Bloody Mary” Feat. Juelz Santana [LISTEN]

The combination of Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana has been a problem since their early ‘I Can’t Feel My Face’ mixtape series days. On their newest collaboration, “Bloody Mary,” Weezy and the Dip Set crooner channel their inner 2-Pac with vicious rhymes.

Juelz starts things off by comparing himself to Nino Brown and referencing Nick Minaj over a sped-up sampled version of Pac’s venomous, “Hail Mary.” Wayne follows by warning all his enemies and threatening to send his goons on anyone trying to come for him.
Bloody Mary” figures to land on Weezy’s upcoming ‘Dedication 6: Reloaded’.

2 Chainz Hints At ‘ColleGrove 2’ Project With Lil Wayne [PEEP]

Being from the South the combination of 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne made for a genius collaborative mixtape two-years-ago. It appears that the duo is ready to embark on a sequel of their ‘ColleGrove’ project with Chainz fueling it.

Yesterday, Tity 2 Chainz posted a picture of he and Wayne with a caption that read, “ME AND MY BROTHA GOTTA ANOTHER 1 ON THE WAY 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿🔥🔥🔥👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿😈😈😈,” immediately sparking speculation for a ‘ColleGrove 2’ tape.

In April 2016 2 Chainz said in an interview that there was “plenty” of more music from him and Wayne on the way. When asked about a second installment Tunechi replied by saying, “that’s already done.”

Wayne recently-released his ‘Dedication 6’ mixtape and is expected to drop a reloaded version soon. As for Chainz he continues to work on his Viceland show and appears to be working on some new music as well. Stay tuned.

New Music: Lil Wayne – “Family Feud” Feat. Drake [LISTEN]

If you thought Drake was quiet and was falling off to end the year…GUESS AGAIN! The 6 God appears on the first single off Lil Wayne’s upcoming ‘D6: Reloaded’, where the duo get back to their 2011 bag and crush shit with lyrical homicide over Jay Z’s “Family Feud” instrumental.

It’s quite the strategic move to drop on the last Friday of the year and also on the same day that Jay Z freed the visuals for “Family Feud” off his ‘4:44’ album. On it Drizzy goes off with quick bars, where he considers taking out a loan to pay Weezy what Universal owes, shows love to Meek Mill, says he needs a percentage in Apple Music, takes a dig a trump, and more.

“Too long like a sentence from a Philly judge / Fuck is the point with all the beefing when we really blood / nobody wins when the family feuds, n***a / everyone eats no one excludes n****s,” raps Drizzy.

Lil Wayne Will Release ‘Dedication 6’ On Christmas Day [PEEP]

You might wanna replace those cookies and milk under your Christmas tree with a double cup of lean and a few blunts, as Lil Wayne will be replacing Santa Claus by gifting his fans the latest installment of his ‘Dedication’ mixtape series.

Weezy revealed on social media today that his highly-anticipated ‘Dedication 6’ mixtape will be released on Christmas Day. Hosted by DJ Drama, as all the others gave been, ‘D6’ will be available December 25th on DatPiff.

“It’s time. Sign up for updates and music before drop date! To My fans, I do this for y’all! #D6 MERRY CHRISTMAS,” wrote Tunechi in a social media post.

‘Dedication 5’ was released over four years ago in September of 2013. Every ‘Dedication’ mixtape to this point has been fire and resulted in a hit or two.

Last year Tune teased the project saying, “I’ve also been working on some crazy shit for a mixtape and we just didn’t have a good name for it yet,” he said. “But it might as well just be a Dedication.”

Stay tuned for more updates as they unfold.

New Music: Lil Wayne – “Like A Man” [LISTEN]

onhel-like-a-man-lil-wayne

While we continue for ‘Tha Carter V’ to be freed, we continue to get old, unreleased songs from Lil Wayne. A few weeks ago we got “Dinnertime” from ‘Tha Carter III’ days and we’ve also got Wayne’s collaborative ‘T-Wayne’ project with T-Pain. Now we get a leaked single from the vault called “Like A Man.”

It’s unclear when this song was created, but if I had to take a guess I would say between 2013 to 2015. On it Tunechi delivers bars with a hyperactive flow over the bouncy ONHEL-produced track. ONHEL also produced “Dinnertime.”

“Like a man, like a gangster, like a real one / These pussies get the dildo, I get the deal done / Like a man, I hate a bitch with a lil’ tongue / And all this old money make me feel young,” raps Tunechi.
