Kanye is not one to shy away from any controversy or anyone sending shots at him, so naturally he responded at his “Saint Pablo” tour stop in Tampa, Florida tonight. Watch below.
Kanye West jumps on the remix of Desiigner’s “Timmy Turner.” This is the first collaboration between the two, but as we know Desiigner is officially a member of G.O.O.D. Music, so we can expect a lot more in the near future. Listen below.
Brrrooo! Kanye went to the MTV VMAs to premiere his new video for “Fade.”
Before he showed the video you know Kanye had to talk.
Ye started by praising Beyonce before discussing the “Famous” video, where he shouted out Ray J, Amber Rose (who was in attendance) and even talked about his love for Taylor Swift and the controversial phone call situation.
He then proceeded to talking about the senseless murders in Chicago before he passionately said his role models were “Truman, Ford, Hughes, Disney, Jobs, West.” Yes, West as in Kanye West. Gotta love it.
Can you count how many times he says “Bro?”
Click the link below to watch Kanye’s “Fade” video. The video shows a very sexy, slender Teyanna Taylor alongside her hubby Iman Shumpert and their newborn.
Alicia Keys made a comeback when she dropped “In Common.” Now, she shares commonalities with Kanye West and Travis Scott as the trio make for the remix. The song premiered on Scott’s first episode of .Wav radio on Apple Music’s Beats1. Press play below.
Kanye West kicked off his Balmain campaign with the video for “Wolves” off ‘The Life of Pablo’ album. The emotional video features cameos from Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Vic Mensa, Sia and supermodels: Cindy Crawford, Alessandra Ambrosio, Francisco Lachowski and Joan Smalls.
In addition to Jermaine Dupri giving us his exclusive new song, “F U Pay Me,” we also talked to the OG about the Kanye West and Taylor Swift phone call which Kim Kardashian leaked a few days ago. JD’s response was as real as it gets and he does agree that Ye did make Taylor a bit famous.
Don’t forget we’re on the Power 106 LIFTOFF every night from 7 pm to Midnight. Listen live or check us out from anywhere you are with the WhereHipHopLives App available on iTunes and the Android Apps Store.

JOE BUDDENS COMES AT DRAKE, JAY-Z AND MEEK MILL
Joe Budden came out firing at Drake in the best way he knows how. Buddens is notorious for feuding with a number of rappers through the years. On “Making A Murderer” not only does he fire at Drake, he also goes at Jay-Z and Meek Mill, making it a full onslaught.
BATTLE BARS
“No alliances with Meek/It’s still fuck him too.”
“Since the OG’s Hov, here’s what I wanna know,”
“If ain’t no real ni**as allowed the fuck would I wanna go? / That’s thinkin’ back to Jay, now let’s get back to Drake / Both too big to respond to all I have to say / Still with all their success and all their accolades / The universe makes it so they come right back to me.”
LOGIC DROPS SURPRISE MIXTAPE
Logic went on a Q&A session with Power 106’s J. Cruz and Hot 97’s Ebro earlier this week, where he answered questions from both radio personalities as well as fans.
During the Q&A he didn’t mention anything about the new project titled, “Bobby Tarantino.” He did drop his new song “Slave” which is on the new project along with “Flexecution” and “Wrist” featuring Pusha T. As always Logic’s artwork is on point.
Logic is currently embarking on “The Endless Summer Tour” along with G-Eazy, YG and Yo Gotti. Get your tickets HERE.
2 CHAINZ DROPS “FEAT 2 CHAINZ PT. 5” MIXTAPE
If you’re familiar with 2 Chainz, you know he’s usually featured on either an original or remixed versions of the hottest club bangers. Chainz dropped a mixtape of the hottest tracks he’s been featured on in the past couple months.
However, nobody expected the FBG general to drop the tape less than 24 hours after teasing it on Twitter. It should come as no surprise as Future has always had a strong reputation for being a hard worker. This is the third tape he’s dropped this year along with ‘EVOL’ and ‘Purple Reign.’
‘Project E.T.: Esco Terrestrial’ mixtape is his offering to summer ’16. It has that natural trap feel with a handful of tracks that figure to light up the nightclubs all summer.
It comes loaded with features from Drake, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Lil’ Uzi Vert, Casey Veggies and more. Metro Boomin, DJ Mustard and Zaytoven also have production credits on the project.

SCHOOLBOY Q DROPS ‘BLANK FACE EP’ TRAILER
We’re a few weeks away from the release of ScHoolboy Q’s ‘Blank Face LP’ and Q gave us a preview for what’s to come with a cinematic trailer.
The trailer that is over a minute long shows Q running from the police, smoking a blunt with homies in his living room before his mom kicks them out and captures him behind bars. You’ll also see Q sporting a Houston Astros cap representing Hoover as he rides around the hood with some of his comrades.
It’ll be interesting to see if Q will release the album in a LEMONADE-isque fashion with full-length visuals.
Watch the trailer below.
The ‘Blank Face LP’ will be dropping July 8th.
LAKERS SELECT INGRAM WITH 2ND OVERALL PICK
The Lakers hit it big at the NBA Draft Lottery when they were awarded the 2nd overall pick. On Thursday the team turned that 2nd pick into Brandon Ingram out of Duke.
In a not so deep draft this year, Ingram was a major pick for the rebuilding Lakers, whom are in need of a big man.
It is not yet known if the 18-year-old will make the team this year or will be stashed overseas to work on his game. One thing is for sure that Lakerland is very optimistic of this pick and see Ingram as a foundation of the future.

It’ll also be interesting to see who Kanye will be taking on the road with him. One name I’m more than certain will be on the tour is G.O.O.D. Music’s Desiigner after the uber success of his single “Panda” and his signing to the label.
