Jay Z & Kanye West To Headline Samsung’s SXSW Concert Series (News)

This is huge!!

Hov and Kanye will perform on Wednesday night at an undisclosed location, which won’t be announced until the day of the show. Only owners of Samsung Galaxy devices will be allowed entry, as the tech company will distribute concert wristbands only though their newly launched radio service Milk Music, that has to be downloaded on your devices. Fans can pick up their wristbands at the Galaxy Experience pop-up location at 2nd Street and Trinity Street starting Tuesday at 10 a.m. CT.

The concert series also includes performances this week from Janelle Monae and Gary Clark Jr. on Thursday, Broken Bells on Friday, and Cut Copy and Holy Ghost! on Saturday.

Rozay was on The Arsenio Hall Show last night, and he brought along two big surprises guest with him to perform “Sanctified” Big Sean and Kanye West! Rozay also sat down with Arsenio to talk about his signature grunt, beards, reconciling with Jeezy, and partnering with Wingstop. Ross closed out the show with a performance of “Nobody.” Projected to debut No. 1 on Billboard next week.

Kanye West went on Late Night With Seth Meyers last night, and Ye’ talked his “Yeezus” touring experience, making music versus fashion designing, breaking down walls creatively, and the ten-year anniversary of College Dropout. Yeezy continued on the subject of fatherhood, daughter North West being an inspiration for his next album, and reflected on his SNL appearance with LeBron James back in 2007.

Kanye also performed a melody of his classics “Jesus Walks,” “Touch the Sky,” “Stronger,” “Heartless,” “All of the Lights,” “Mercy,” and “Black Skinhead.”
