Powerhouse took over the Honda Center over the weekend, and talk about a star studded line-up! Nicki Minaj, Schoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad, Wiz Khalifa,Jennifer Lopez, YG, Trey Songz, Juicy J, Childish Gambino, and Sage The Gemini.  I had the opportunity to catch up with Juicy J, Nicki Minaj, ScHoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad, Wiz Khalifa, the lovely ladies Christina Milian & Karrueche, and the beautiful J Lo backstage!

A good number of Hip-Hop fans would consider DJ Premier to be one of the top 3 producers of all time, so when the opportunity knocked to get in the studio with Premo and talk about some of his classic records, we ran to the door and let that mothafuckin opportunity in! We got with Premier for our latest audio-biography, if you’re not familiar with those, click here for some of our older ones. We basically got in the studio with Premo and had him give us some backstory on some of his most classic productions. Everything from Gang Starr (OBVIOUSLY) to The Notorious B.I.G. and more. Fresh off the announcement of XXL magazine’s  2014 Freshman list, Troy Ave checked in with DJ sourMILK and Justin Credible and chopped it up about what it means to be one of XXL’s Freshman 14 “You gotta remember I’m the only New York artist on the XXL Freshman list” ,  having his song “Your Style” be played on L.A. radio “That’s ill man that means a lot.”  Troy also sets the record straight on why he called Kendrick Lamar a weirdo rapper, and more!

Tonight on the #LIFTOFF with J Cruz and Justin Credible they had TY Dolla $ign call in and talk about how it feels like to be featured on XXL magazine’s Freshman 14 cover! “Man, God is great I’m thankful you know they realizing that L.A. is definitely here.” TY also chopped it up about his experience being on tour “All the shows have been turning up, the tour bus has been going up afterwards too it’s been crazy.”

I had the honor to DJ for a sold out Belasco crowd, for one of the best of all time a legend Nas! 20 years since his first album #ILLMATIC dropped and he’s still driving the culture. Nas performed ”Hate Me Now”, “If I Ruled The World”, and “Made You Look,” DTLA was on fire for Esco!

On a day where the talk of the country was the NBA commissioner Adam Silver banning Clippers owner Donald Sterling from the NBA and anything to do with the Clippers organization, Justin Credible along with a S. Dot, Vin Rican, Disko Drew, Gabby V, and Marz Snare created this short song called “Banned In The NBA”. Props to the commissioner for doing the right thing and taking a hard stance to not only make the NBA a better league, but also fighting for equality.
