Jay Z Launches Comador Cigar (News)

Connecting with Cohiba Red Dot, Hov looks to convert more than just Atlanta to Havana with his new Comador Cigar line. The new stogie from Cohiba’s Cuban branch of smokes is comprised of tobacco “the most revered Caribbean and Central American growing regions” and Connecticut broadleaf leaves being used to wrap the cigar.

If money ain’t a thing when it comes to your smoke break, then throw on your Guayabara shirts and bandanas and breeze over to the Comador Cigar website to buy some smokes from Hov’s new line which is priced at $210 USD for seven cigars or $999 for 21 and a humidifier.

Jay Z Leads 2014 Grammy Nominations (News)

Congrats Hov!

The 2014 Grammy nominations were announced last night and leading the pack is Jay Z with nine nods. Following close behind are Kendrick Lamar and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis with seven nominations. Both acts are for the top prize of Album Of The Year.

Today is Hov’s 44th birthday! Not only did he reveal that he is starting a new vegan plant friendly diet, he also ranked his his twelve solo albums.

I’ve gotta say, it’s pretty dope to see him be so honest about his music. Most rappers stay on that “everything I do is amazing” tip, but Hov is man enough to admit his mishaps over his lengthy career in the rap game. After taking a look at his ranking, how would y’all change it up?

Congrats to Diddy, Hov, and Dr.Dre for making Forbes Magazine’s Highest Paid Musicians List of 2013!

Diddy checks in at No. 12 with $50 million (he also landed on the 2013 Hip-Hop Cash Kings list as well as the 5 Wealthiest Rappers list). Rihanna sat at the 17th spot with ($43 million) while Hov (whom together with wife Beyonce were on the Highest Paid Celebrity Couples list) topped $42 million this year. And I’m sure his controversial business deal/collection with Barneys will help boost his financial profile. And finally, Dr. Dre who is sitting on a comfortable $40 mill – with the help of his Beats by Dre company.
