“And another one!”

DJ Khaled scores his second No. 1 album with his recently-released ‘Grateful’ album. His 10th studio album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts with 149,000 equivalent album units (55,000 traditional). In addition its 81,000 streaming equivalent album units is the largest for any album since K. Dot’s ‘DAMN.’

With contributions from Jay-Z, Drake, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, Bryson Tiller, Justin Bieber, Quavo, and many, many more talented artists, it’s easy to see why the album did the numbers it did.

“I’m the One” featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper, and Lil Wayne becames Khaled’s first No. 1 single earlier this year.

To celebrate the victory, Khaled shared a post on Instagram with a caption that read, “We did it FAN LUV !!!!!!! #1#GRATEFUL #1 @billboard ! @wethebestmusic @rocnation !!!!! @epicrecords !!!”

DJ Khaled is truly blessed. The music mogul is eight months into fatherhood, he recently scored his first No. 1 with “I’m The One,” has scored major partnerships and endorsements, and recently dropped his 10th studio album ‘Grateful’. When Khaled says, “all I do is win,” it is not an exaggeration.

In the video for the intro to ‘Grateful’, Khaled highlights just how blessed he is. Sitting in a soothing garden the King of the Anthems holds his son, Asahd up in the air, while the toddler, who turns eight months today smiles with true joy.

THE VOCALS ARE IN!

A year after providing you with all the keys on his ‘Major Key’ album, DJ Khaled is showing you he’s truly ‘Grateful’ with the release of his 10th studio album, executive produced by his toddler son, Ashad Khaled.

The star-studded 22-track album is headed by the singles “Shining” featuring Jay-Z and Beyonce,  “To the Max” featuring Drake, and “I’m The One” featuring Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne, and Quavo. “I’m The One” was the first No. 1 for Khaled on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Along with the names mentioned above, ‘Grateful’ also includes additional features from Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Nas, Future, Alicia Keys, Chance the Rapper, Travis Scott, Rick Ross, Big Sean, Calvin Harris, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Jeremih, T.I., and many, many more. Pretty much the biggest names in the whole damn game.

Another one.

DJ Khaled blesses fans with his new single “I’m the One,” accompanied with a video. The song is a collaboration with some of the industry’s heaviest hitters in Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne, and Quavo.

The Eif Rivera-directed video had been teased earlier this year and Khaled dropped an official trailer yesterday, adding extra commotion.

In the video Khaled and friends find themselves at a lavish estate, where they host a pool party with a flock of beautiful women, pop bottles of Belaire Luxe and Ciroc Summer Colada. The group of friends are also shown smoking, playing croquet, and dancing around. In the beginning Khaled’s son, Ashad makes a cameo, sitting in a chair that says, Executive Producer.

“I’m the One” follows DJ Khaled’s “Shining” collaboration with Jay-Z and Beyoncé, which has already gone No. 1. The producer has already promised his new single will have the same success. Both singles will be on Khaled’s forthcoming ‘Grateful’ album, follow-up to last year’s ‘Major Key’. ‘Grateful’ is set to include other features from Drake, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Nas, Travis Scott, and pretty much the biggest in the game.

New Music: DJ Khaled – “Shining” Feat. Beyoncé & Jay-Z [LISTEN]

khaled-beyonce-jay-z-shining

In the midst of all the GRAMMY commotion last night, DJ Khaled surprised everyone by dropping a new single [*ANOTHER ONE*] titled “Shining” featuring power couple, Beyoncé and Jay-Z. [*ICON ALERT*]

The lively, inspirational single, co-written by PARTYNEXTDOOR, has Bey singing about her blessings and winning streaks from music to her pregnancy. Jay follows Yonceé by spitting gasoline and emptying his subliminal clip, which many thought were shots at Drake.

“I’ve been winnin’ so long it’s like alchemy / I’ve been playin’ cards with the house money / 21 Grammys, I’m a savage n***a / 21 Grammys, I’m a savage n***a / I shouldn’t even worry, backward n***s
12 solo albums, all Platinum, n***a,” raps Hov and goes on with, “I know you ain’t out here talkin’ numbers, right / I know you ain’t out here talkin’ summers, right / I know you ain’t walkin’ ’round talkin’ down / Sayin’ boss shit when you a runner, right?.”

The bars in my opinion were a direct response to both Drake’s singles “Summer Sixteen” and “Sneakin” featuring 21 Savage. Let me know what you took from it in the comments below. Many fans are questioning PARTNEXTDOOR’s loyalty with the writing credit, but he worked only on Beyoncé’s part and not Jay’s.

“Shining” is the first single off Khaled’s 10th album ‘Grateful’, which shows his son Ashad on the cover. Khaled announced Ashad will executive produce the upcoming album.
