2011 will be known as the year of planking, the year when people turned in their BlackBerry in for an iPhone (RIP Steve Jobs), the year we lost musical greats Amy Winehouse and Heavy D and the year when Jay-Z and Beyonce produced an heir to the throne. 2011 also marked a great year in music.

Video: Frank Ocean Finally Performs In New York City
After canceling on NYC a few hours before the show was about to start, Frank Ocean finally took his talents to the Big Apple. Every Frank Ocean show so far seemed to be uniform. He might have performed a different track here and there but his appearance and stage presence stayed the same. All of the shows were sold out and it was only the first tour? Nice work Mr. Ocean. Check out some footage from his LA performance at El Rey here.
