Nick Grant Torches Erykah Badu’s “Love Of My Life” On #Freestyle041 [WATCH]

Some rappers are scared to do freestyles, especially on a platform like the L.A. Leakers. Nick Grant proved the first time around on #Freestyle012 that he was fearless and he does that once again on #Freestyle041, compensating for his peers that run from the mic.

The South Carolina spitter is getting ready to drop his upcoming ‘Dreamin’ Out Loud’ mixtape, but before doing that he stopped by the Power 106 #LIFTOFF to torch #Freestyle041 for Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk. Over 5-minutes, Nick annihilates Erykah Badu’s romantic ballad “Love of My Life.”

Erykah Badu Brings Out YG, Lox & Freeway In Philly (Video)

Last night the 8th annual Roots Picnic went down last night at Phiadelphia’s Festival Pier. During Erykah Badu’s set, she brought out YG and performed (“My Ni**a”), D-Block (“It’s All About The Benjamins”, “Money, Power & Respect”) and Philly’s own Freeway (“Roc The Mic”).

Video: Erykah Badu – Out My Mind, Just In Time (Movement II)

Part two out of three.

The first movement is called ‘Recovering Undercover Over-lover.’ It actually sums up the whole album, because I’m talking about love and emotion – ‘I need you to do this,’ ‘I want you to do this,’ ‘You make me feel like this,’ ‘Why don’t you feel like this?’ It’s typical of how you feel in relationships. The second movement is called … ‘Easier Said Than Done,’ and it’s about how hard it is to change after you’ve been in a relationship for so long. And then the third movement is called ‘But Not This Time,’ because even though I’ve done things a certain way for so long, I won’t do that this time.

Directed by Erykah Badu.
