So here’s the deal, there’s always news circulating the net and I’ve decided it would be easier to pile it all together in one post. Capiche? Let’s go.
J. Cole will have his own holiday! On Thurs, March 1st, Cole will be honored in Fayetteville, North Carolina with his own day. Dreamville Weekend follows. Not too shabby, Jermaine. [RR]

Wiz Khalifa hitting $100 million income mark in 2012? The rapper seems hopeful. [HHDX]
Oooooh, btw. If you haven’t heard, Drake and Common kissed and made up. Ok, maybe there wasn’t kissing but smiles were exchanged. [complex]
Note: News will be updated throughout the day.
Common stopped by Cosmic Kev’s the Come Up Show and spit not one but two freestyles. Watch Common’s “Streets Is Watching Freestyle” above and the second freestyle after the jump.
Sidenote: In case you didn’t know, the beef is over. Drake will not be responding to Common.

Big Boy chopped it up with Birdman this morning and they touched on the Drake/Common beef.
“Son of a b*tch, I imagine what your father is.”
That was quick. Common hops on the same track where Drake subliminally dissed him. The difference between Common and Drake is that Common states, “make no mistake, I”m talking to Drake.” Boom.
There’s a happy ending for Common in his latest video for “Raw (How You Like It)” found on The Dreamer, The Believer but on Rick Ross’ mixtape, Rich Forever, Drake takes a few shots on “Stay Schemin’.” Common, fire back! Just because.

“Usually we open up with a lot of gunshots. We try to be very Worldstar but lately I’ve been watching a lot of Fox News and you are a gangster. This is getting a little bit too real. – Jeff
“I don’t think y’all really wanna open up like that unless you really really ready to open fire. You know what I mean?” – Common

Last night, Common performed cuts from his latest album, The Dreamer/The Believer, in front of a sold out crowd at the House Of Blues in Los Angeles. Common visited Sway & Dev this morning and basically called out Drake. Justin and I were at Cali Christmas on Friday, which Common and Drake both performed at, Drake said something like, “If you got something to say, say it to my face. Just because I sing R&B music, don’t mean I’m a bitch!” We were wondering what the fuck he was talking about…… We both know now. If you know me, you know Comm has always been my favorite MC, I’m just gonna stay out of this.
