Video: 2 Chainz Brings Out Kanye West At SXSW

SOB’s 30th Anniversary party at the Belmont nightclub in Austin was already pretty epic with a lineup that included Miguel, Elle Varner, Machine Gun Kelly, 2 Chainz and Slaughterhouse but then 2 Chainz had to crank it up a notch and bring a few more friends with him, Kanye West and Big Sean. Watch as the crowd goes crazy when they see Mr. West. All I see is a sea of smart phones.

Update: Footage above provided by Gowhere Hip-Hop.

More footage of Kanye and Big Sean after the jump provided by Mikey Fresh.

In honor of J. Dilla being one of the most influential producers of all time, I decided to lay a verse to one of my favorite tracks off of J. Dilla’s Donuts. Being from Detroit I feel I have a responsibility to honor his legacy n continue it in my own way. His soul will live forever… RIP J. Dilla – Big Sean

Justin Credible’s “Incredible 11 of 2011”

2011 will be known as the year of planking, the year when people turned in their BlackBerry in for an iPhone (RIP Steve Jobs), the year we lost musical greats Amy Winehouse and Heavy D and the year when Jay-Z and Beyonce produced an heir to the throne. 2011 also marked a great year in music.

Since everyone is doing a top-something-of-2011 post, I thought it would only be right and put our two cents in and give you the eleven albums/mixtapes that I vibed with in twenty eleven. Some of the projects you may be surprised with and some you may already have on your list but whatever the cause is check what I found post-worthy after the jump.
