Beyoncé’s “Drunk In Love” Lands In The No.2 Spot On Billboard Hot 100 (News)

Beyoncé keeps winning!  Her single “Drunk In Love” featuring Jay Z came in the number 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts this week! #Serfbort

Following her opening performance at the Grammys, the song off her self-titled album jumps 13-2, due to an increase in streams and digital sales (via Billboard). She also earns her seventh No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

“Drunk in Love” gives Bey her 15th top 10 and first since Lady Gaga’s “Telephone,” which reached No. 3 in April 2010. It’s also her highest-charting song since “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” spent four weeks at No. 1 in December 2008.

The 32-year-old ties Connie Francis and Olivia Newton-John for seventh place among women with the most top 10s in the Hot 100′s 55-year history, surpassing P!nk, Donna Summer, and Taylor Swift.

Jay Z performed at Direct TV’s Super Bowl Party in New York on Saturday night, not only did he performed some of his biggest hits, he surprised the super exclusive crowd when he brought out Beyoncé to perform “Drunk In Love.” After sharing a hug and a kiss, Hov bowed to his wife, proclaiming, “All hail to the queen!”

Billboard has revealed their Power 100 List, and Mr.and Mrs. Carter came in the number one spot! Not surprised whatsoever they both put out great albums!

Thanks to their innovative album releases: Hov’s handsome deal with Samsung to distribute Magna Carta… Holy Grail, and Bey dropping her eponymous fifth LP completely by surprise. The strategies clearly paid off with both albums debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, respectively, and subsequently reaching platinum certification. New rules indeed.

Beyoncé To Perform At The Grammy Awards (News)

According to the LA Times Beyoncé will be performing at this years Grammy’s!!

“Let’s put it this way … We have a really great history that goes back to the early days of Destiny’s Child. I love working with [Beyoncé]. She’s incredible. She is so into what it is that she does and making sure that everybody who sees her walks away saying, ‘wow’,” states Grammy Awards show producer Ken Ehrlich, who remained tight-lipped and wouldn’t confirm the news. “Should she be on the show this year? I would think that the potential is there for that kind of moment.”

Madonna will also join one of the previous announced performers for a special appearance. Robin Thicke, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Katy Perry, P!nk, Nate Reuss, Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams, Lorde, and Metallica have been announced so far on the performance lineup.

The 56th Annual Grammy Awards takes place Sunday, January 26, live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.

Jay Z To Headline DirecTV’s Super Bowl Party (News)

Hov will be performing at DirecTV’s SuperFan Stadium at New York’s Hudson River Park Pier 40 on February 1. The event will be co-hosted by Eli Manning and Mark Cuban’s AXS TV, Billboard reports. Word is that Hov and Beyoncé might perform one song together! How dope is this going to be, can’t wait to watch!

In part 5 of Beyoncé’s documentary, she takes us behind the scenes on the recording process of “Rocket” with Pharrell and Justin Timberlake. B also reflects on getting her start at the age of nine and how she’s changed as a 32-year-old woman.
