It’s Hov’s birthday today, my favorite rapper of all time! To celebrate he released this documentary on his latest concert at the Barclays Center.  I remember in ’96 I went into a Sam Goody in the mall and I only had enough $ for one cd .It was between the High School High soundtrack and Reasonable Doubt, I went with Reasonable Doubt  because I thought the line “You can’t change a playas game in the 9th inning” was genius. Happy birthday HOV! Thank you for 15 plus summers of amazing music & emotion.

Jay-Z On Nets Win & Hurricane Sandy (News)

Jay-Z was all smiles after the Nets victory at the Barclays Center. After the game Hov spoke on the win and the devastation of Hurricane Sandy.

Reflecting on the first game in Brooklyn and thinking about the hurricane.

Thinking about being undefeated and all the losses/wins that lie ahead. Life will always throw adversity and tragedy at us. We remain resilient! Heartfelt prayers go out to those who lost their lives and to the families who continue the fight.
