A Tribe Called Quest Unleash Their Final Music Video “The Space Program” [WATCH]

Back in 2016 A Tribe Called Quest released their final album ‘We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your service’. The group has now unleashed their final music video in “The Space Program,” which is the opening track on their 2016 album.

The legendary group makes their final video EPIC with a 7-and-a-half minute Warren Fu-directed clip that is dedicated to deceased member, Phife Dawg. In the video the three remaining members Q-Tip, MC Phife, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Jarobi White take an extravagant trip to outer space to find new truths. It also is a social message about civil rights and racial inequality in America with powerful clips of Martin Luther King, Jr., Rosa Parks, Muhammad Ali, Rodney King, and other critical social movement figures.

Along with special effects, the video includes cameos from Erykah Badu, Pharrell, Common, Vince Staples, Talib Kweli, Kelly Rowland, Questlove, Janelle Monae, Alicia Keys, Anderson .Paak, Consequence, and more.

With their final album, We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your service’ in the books, A Tribe Called Quest continues to release videos for singles off the project.

The Hiro Murai-directed black-and-white video shows the group along with Busta Rhymes chilling and dancing at a train station, while everyone else around them appears to be frozen. Unlike other videos that have been released from the project, this one doesn’t include any footage of the late-Phife Dawg. However, you do still hear Phife’s verse in the video.

New Video: A Tribe Called Quest – “We The People” [WATCH]

It took A Tribe Called Quest 18-years to follow up their last album, but with ‘We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your Service’ they’ve made it worth it. The album is expected to top the Billboard charts in its first week.

To show their appreciation, ATCQ, give fans the video for their nostalgic single, “We The People” off the album.

In the video, the Tribe gathers all minorities to go with Trump taking over as president. Busta Rhymes makes a cameo in the video and Phife Dawg’s image is erected on a building outlined by classic Trube colors and patterns.

A Tribe Called Quest Reflect On Their Legacy (Video)

Revolt TV caught up with A Tribe Called Quest in Brooklyn before they opened for Kanye’s Yeezus tour last week. They reflected on their legacy, from their motivation behind getting into the rap game, the longevity of their music and connecting with the current generation, and more.

Mixtape: So Much Soul: The Native Tongues Mix (Part I & II by DJ sourMILK)

After Michael Rapaport put his A Tribe Called Quest Documentary out, it reminded myself and my folks over at So Much Soul how much dope material Native Tongues had as a crew. We decided to do a mixtape/t-shirt collaboration for it and this is what we came up with. I’m sure the Hip-Hop nerds are gonna be upset that certain songs aren’t on there, deal with it. There’s always a lot of confusion as to who’s actually part of Native Tongues as well, so I just used music from the people who’s names they actually mentioned in the documentary. Download is below and make sure you go PICK UP A SHIRT HERE!!!
