For all those that thought Jay-Z’s cryptic “4:44” message was the sign of a coming album, you were wrong. However, Hov is cooking something just not an album. It’s been revealed that “4:44” is actually the title of an upcoming movie produced by Jigga.
The movie will star Mahershala Ali, Danny Glover and Lupita Nyong’o. The announcement was made during a commercial break of yesterday’s NBA Finals, with Sprint/TIDAL spawning the exclusive movie on TIDAL.
I know it’s very dissapointing for music fans everywhere, who were tricked into thinking that Hov had some new music coming. Look at it on the bright side though, every film includes a soundtrack, so maybe we’ll get some new Jay-Z music that way.
