Fleekbok 2 With Cam’ron Headed to a Store Near You

Back in March Rapper Cam’ron teamed up for the first time with sneaker brand Reebok to create a dope shoe called purple haze.

The brightly colored shoe which says “The sole of this #PurpleHaze Sneaker is cray.. #Reebok #420 #Fleeboks,” in the sole of the shoe, was the first time the “fleekboks” title was used.

Now he’s back again with another bright shoe called “fleekbok 2.”
The pink shoe which according to Hip-Hop DX will “come in a camouflage box with the Dipset logo appropriately stamped atop” is set to be released this month just in time for Christmas for $160.

This is an authorized collaboration that Cam’ron is doing unlike what he claims the UFC and reality TV show Love and Hip Hop is doing.

Yesterday (November 16) he took to Instagram to share his feelings on the show using his face and saying he is a cast member.

He stated “Good evening, everyone. I am not a cast member on ‘Love & Hip Hop,’” Cam’ron said, “I did a scene for Juelz (Santana). Cause he’s on the show. I did a scene for Juju cause she’s on the show.”

But that’s not the biggest problem that he is having. At the end of the video, he hinted that he would be getting his lawyers involved in the use of his song for UFC promotions.

He comments saying “Second order of business is Dana White from the UFC, You’ve been using my song all week to promote the Conor McGregor fight at Madison Square. My song ‘Welcome To New York City’ featuring Jay-Z … Once again nobody reached out to me … We’ll be reaching out tomorrow, me and my lawyer.”

Safe to say when working with Cam’ron complete the paperwork before using his name “Obviously these people haven’t done business with me before, so they don’t know how I get down,” says Cam’ron.

Meek Mill Spitting Bars on Kanye West & Donald Trump in Freestyle

It’s no secret Meek Mill doesn’t keep quite when it comes to those dis records. So it comes to no surprise he’s back at it again with his words on Kanye, the fam and his views on Trump becoming the new President-elect plus a few more thoughts he couldn’t keep to himself in the freestyle.

Mill unveils his rap during an interview where he shows clear signs of his feelings towards the success of the recent rappers to date and the way the presidency future will look. In the seven minute clip, the Philly rapper makes multiple references to Yezzy. “Bad bitch with me getting her slay on,” he raps. “Let me in this bitch, I’ma stay on / Any ni**a in the way of that, we pull that K on / Fill his clothes up with holes, tell him get his ‘Ye on, Yeezus.”

Later, he adds: “We ain’t grow up like the Jenners / The only choice we had was fuck with yay’ / Sometimes it’d make me wanna run away / Sometimes I see my people struggle and I want to stay.”

The freestyling continued while Meek held up a “Fuck Donald Trump” foam middle finger in promotion to YG’s Still Brazy tour. Continuing to spit, “Now that Trump won the election,” he raps. “They’re gonna try to box us out like the Mexicans.”

While continuing to touch on the mass incarceration topic. But with the hate comes the praise, in the freestyle Meek glorifies YG his consistent fam.

New Video: K Camp – “Free Money” Feat. Slim Jxmmi [WATCH]

K Camp comes through with the visuals for “Free Money” featuring Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi. “Free Money” was the last remaining song on Camps ‘Lyric Ave’ EP without a video.

In the semi-animated video, both K Camp and Slim Jxmmi hang out with some bad tings that twerk while the rappers each count bands of money.

No one expected for Gucci Mane and Future to drop a collaborative mixtape together tonight. Their project is titled, Free Bricks 2K16: Zone 6 Edition EP and contains 6 tracks. This EP is a follow up from their 2011 joint project, Free Bricks. The tracks have production from Metro Boomin, Southside, and Zaytoven. In an interview with Missinfo he explains how this production was literally recorded last night.

Gucci explained,

“Last night, me and Future met up in Atlanta. We ditched our entourages, we didn’t book my usual studio, or his usual studio…it’s like we knew we wanted to fly under the radar,” says Gucci. “There was like this positive competition in the room. I’d hear him go in on a verse, and I knew I had to step up.”

He continues: “He would say, the same back, and we knocked out 6 songs so crazy that I knew we couldn’t just sit on it. We talked about recording some more, adding more songs. But I didn’t want to over think it or over plan things. Even Future didn’t think we were dropping this tonight. This is the freshest it can get. These joints ain’t even 24 hours old. That’s like bringing you in the studio with us.”

If only more artists could collaborate on music this quick we would have so much new music that we all anticipate!

The title song to Common’s recent album ‘Black America Again’ includes a new instrumental, politically and socially-driven versus from Gucci and Pusha T, and replaces Stevie Wonder’s hook with one from BJ the Chicago Kid. Common also joins in with a new set of bars. Listen below.

QUOTABARZ

“We wow the world with black magnificence / A symphony for the divine and we the instruments / Black innocence.” – COMMON

“Come look into the eyes of a man named Gucci / Got me peeping out the blinds like Malcolm with the uzi / The government, the church, and the world is so polluted / They callin’ me a criminal and I’m a revolution.” – GUCCI MANE

“I confess / I’ve been part of the problem / As of lately, I’m trying to solve ’em / I sold dope and I still talk the jargon / Just like Malcolm ‘fore the X was on him.” – PUSHA T
