Video: 2DopeBoyz, DJBooth & Last Rights Present The Rising

Just another SXSW video to remind me of the good performances that I missed. Sigh.

On March 18th the dopehouse linked up with DJBooth and Last Rights Clothing to present the site’s very first unofficial SXSW showcase. With performances by the likes of Skeme, Shane Eli, El Da Sensei, Nikki Lynette, Tanya Morgan, King Mez, Emilio Rojas, El Prez, Skewby, Macklemore, ScHoolBoy Q, Big K.R.I.T., J.NiCS, REKS, Trae Tha Truth and Freeway, it was definitely a highlight in not only the dopehouse’s relatively short existence but for myself as well. Like, love or loathe us, if it weren’t for the people that visit, continue to frequent or hear about the site both Shake and I would have never progressed this far. For that we thank you.
