New Music: Young Thug, Gunna & Turbo – “Quarantine Clean” [LISTEN]

The American people are going through a major historical moment right now with the pandemic. There are many areas of our society that have stood still.

However, Atlanta trap music is not stopping as Young Thug, Gunna, and Turbo all link up for their latest collaboration entitled “Quarantine Clean.”

Despite the title and cover art, which shows all of the stars with masks and sanitary suits the song is more about Gunna  & Young Thug bragging about how slick they are. 

“I’m quarantine-clean, so relaced/ Got my pillows in my Benz Maybach.,” there’s also a funny line that many of us might relate to that Young Thug rapped, “Why would a disease come around when you get rich?”

Tory Lanez has been creating quite the buzz for himself lately with his Quarantine Radio on Instagram Live. To add to the hype he releases his new track, “Who Needs Love.”

“Who Needs Love” is a heartfelt track about not needing love when you can have money, and materialistic things to make you happy instead.

He raps, “I spent a hundred and thou’ and all countin’/ Money make me happy every time I count it/ Who needs love when I come around flexin’?”

New Music: Rod Wave – “The Greatest” [LISTEN]

If there’s one thing we can count on to keep us entertained during this Quarantine, it’s definitely the new music and videos being released. Before the stay at home order was put into place St. Petersburg, Rod Wave was jumping from city to city and performing his hit singles. 

His latest single “The Greatest” includes a video release that is directed by All The Smoke. The video provides an intimate and behind the scenes look on his success.

Smoke captures Rod Wave during his happiest moments on stage interacting with his fans and doing what he loves to do best. Smoke focuses on showing us his newfound success instead of highlighting the hardships of Rod Wave’s life. 

“The Greatest” will be on Rod Waves sophomore album, ‘Pray for Love‘, scheduled to be released on April 3rd.

New Video: Dreamville – “Lambo Truck” Feat. Cozz, Reason & Childish Major [WATCH]

Dreamville had a strong 2019 after dropping the long-awaited compilation album ‘Revenge of the Dreamers III: Directors Cut‘. The album has banger after banger, but “Lambo Truck” featuring Cozz, Reason, & Childish Major definitely had everyone shook.

In the video you see Reason and Cozz sitting in front of a Red Lamborghini truck and Childish Major rapping the hook in the back. The following clips show TDE’s Reason negotiating his contract with his manager, & Dreamville’s Cozz demanding more money from his label.

The rappers give us a visual of how the “stick up” would be using life sized cardboard cutouts of their CEOs J. Cole and Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith.

DaBaby drops his anticipated new single “Find My Way” and gets real cinematic for the Reel Goats-directed visuals.

DJ Kid provides the beat for this Billion Dollar Baby production that finds Charlotte’s finest riding out with his boo thing across Eastern California like Mickey & Mallory.

He teaches her how to hold the blicky & the two of them start robbing gas stations and diners like the modern day Bonnie and Clyde. The video is clearly inspired by cult classic films like “Natural Born Killers” & “Pulp Fiction.”

“Find My Way” ends with a horror film twist as Da Baby shoots his way out of a motel against a crew of devil’s rejects looking ass rednecks.

Sacramento rapper Mozzy dropped his new single “I Ain’t Perfect” featuring Blxst, along with visuals that were captured by Director Suj.

This visual captures the struggle of Mozzy’s past life in a bird’s eye view. In the video you can see shots of his neighborhood, and local hangouts while he reflects on humble origins.

“I Ain’t Perfect” is the first single off of Mozzy’s upcoming fifth studio album ‘Beyond Bulletproof’, which he announced on Instagram. The rapper took to Instagram earlier this week announcing that you can now pre-order the album that will be dropping soon.

New Video: Pop Smoke – “Shake The Room” Feat. Quavo [WATCH]

It’s been nearly a month since Pop Smoke’s passing and his first posthumous video “Shake the Room” has been released. The video was shot by designer, OFF-WHITE founder and Louis Vuitton artistic director Virgil Abloh. 

In the video Virgil captures Pop Smoke and Migos member Quavo driving around the captivating streets of Paris during fashion week. In the video you see the rappers sipping wine in a beautiful  restaurant, peeling through the lively streets of Paris in a Ferrari, and enjoying their classy evening.
