New Video: Wyclef Jean – “The Ring” [WATCH]

The Number 1 Haitian, Wyclef Jean, drops the visuals for his single “The Ring” off his recently-released ‘J’ouvert’ EP. ‘Clef shows off his sparring skills in the video by taking an opponent to the ground and striking him with a combination of punches.

‘J’ouvert’ was released a few months ago and includes features from Young Thug, Walk the Moon, T-Baby, and Allyson Casado, and more. Wyclef is working on his next album and will be inducted to the New Jersey Hall of Fame on May 7th.

New Video: Young Thug – “Wyclef Jean” [WATCH]

Director Ryan Staake explains how he was able to direct the bizarre video for Young Thug’s “Wyclef Jean,” without the rapper showing up to the shoot.

Thugger appears in the beginning of the video snacking on Cheetos as he raps, but Staake didn’t shoot that and never even met with Thug. According to Staake, Thug sent him that footage and after the Atlanta rapper failed to show up to the shoot, he shot it anyway, with consideration of Thug’s requests.

Staake explains how the whole video came to be with hilarious commentary throughout the video, while models and kids make out the scenes Thugger was supposed to appear in.

“Wyclef Jean” is off Thug’s last year release of the ‘Jefferey’ album.

French Montana Brings Out Busta Rhymes, Wyclef Jean, DJ Khaled & More In NYC (Video)

French Montana hit the stage at SOBs in NYC a couple of hours ago and while he performed his own well-known tracks like “Pop That” and “Straight Off The Boat,” he also brought out some friends to surprise the crowd with. Busta Rhymes, Trina, Yo Gotti, Wycelf Jean, DJ Khaled and Uncle Murda all joined French Montana and even performed a track of their own. Now that’s love. Excuse My French finally drops May 21st.

Sidenote: Wow, I still can’t believe Wyclef can rap better in Spanish than I can at all.
