KAWS Gives the MTV Awards Statue a “Companion” Makeover (Video)

This is hot, I want one! LOL

The “Moonman” statue for the MTV Video Music Awards has been the same Buzz Aldrin-inspired silhouette for nearly 30 years. The iconic flag-planting astronaut that has become synonymous with MTV and the award show has received a temporary redesign by New York-based artist KAWS as they prepare to broadcast live from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center this summer.
