Swae Lee & Slim Jxmmi Drop A Solo Single Each & A New Rae Sremmurd Single [PEEP]

Sremm season is upon us and after chatter of Rae Sremmurd’s forthcoming album ‘SremmLife 3’ being a triple album, which was later confirmed by Mike WiLL Made-It, the Mississippi duo release three new singles. Two of the singles are solo tracks, while the other is a collaboration.

The joint single will be on the Rae Sremmurd side of the album and is called “Powerglide” featuring Juicy J. It follows their last single “T’d Up,” which has drawn a lot of attention and going off in nightclubs and strip clubs across the country.

Next up is Swae Lee’s single “Hurt to Look,” produced by L.A.’s Bizness Boi and is the first single off the Swae side of the album called ‘Swaecation’. This record definitely has radio appeal and should be getting major adds on both urban and Pop stations.

The final single is Slim Jxmmi’s thumping “Brxnks Truck,” where Uncle J shows he is as capable as Swae Lee of being a solo artist, although many critics have cringed at the idea. This single will land on the Jxmmi side of the album.

Justin Credible’s Album Spotlight of the Week : SremmLife

unnamed-1

Rae Sremmurd kicked off 2015 with the release of their debut album SremmLife executive produced by Mike Will Made It. The album brings new features from Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, and others. I really enjoyed listening to this album, everything from the catchy melodies to the hot rap bars that we can talk about in the barbershops.

The guys came to the scene last year with arguably one of the biggest Hip-Hop single debuts of the year with “No Flex Zone”. They had everyone singing “They Knooooow Better” every time I played the record in my sets.

After their successful debut, I was curious to hear what else they could follow up with. Could they keep the successful streak going???
Sure enough they came with a huge hit for the second half of the year with “No Type”. That song is still an automatic play right now for me. Nothing like watching a room full of hot chicks singing “I ain’t got no type”.

Right before the year ended they dropped another smash alongside Nicki titled “Throw Sum Mo”. These kids were 3 for 3! I couldn’t be more impressed! I really think these dudes are definitely here to stay.

Now, they’ve released a full body of work and definitely have delivered more songs for us to enjoy and for me to drop in the clubs. My 2 favorite songs off the album are “Come Get Her“ and “Unlock The Swag”.

“Come Get Her” is one of those songs you can either play in your car riding around the city or at a strip club. “Unlock the Swag” is that song that automatically makes you feel like the man with all the swag.

Other notable tracks that I’m rockin’ with are “My X” and “Up Like Trump”. The Mississippi duo is making noise and are definitely artists to watch for in 2015.

Make sure you go cop that SremmLife album on iTunes.
