Justin Credible Album Spotlight: Ludacris – Ludaversal

unnamed-1

My brotha Ludacris stopped by the #LIFTOFF with Eric DLux and I to celebrate the release of his 8th studio album titled Ludaversal. We had a great time giving LA an early preview of the album on air, while sipping off a $350 bottle of Tequila! Who said you can’t work and celebrate at the same time?

I finally got some time to sit with this album and really have a listen. I must say Ludacris is still, Ludacris. This new album is a solid Luda album.
His intensity on the mic and the aggressiveness on his bars is what makes this album a good one.

Aside from the album single “Good Lovin” he has with Miguel, Ludacris said that his favorite song on the album was “Grass is Always Greener”. I went ahead and took a listen to it and I noticed that the song is about him finding a balance between his personal and life and artist life. With a line like “I’m at home wishing I was in the club, other times I’m at the club wishing I was with my kids”.

Another song I enjoyed off the album is “Call Ya Bluff”. Ludacris brings his aggressiveness and intensity on the mic with this song. He also has a song titled “Beast Mode” that was inspired by none other than Mr. Beast Mode himself Marshawn Lynch. Luda brought his bars on this song and showed that memorable Luda flow.

Though Ludacris’ acting credits have overshadowed his musical credits in recent years, you can’t deny that the Atlanta-bred rapper has had a legendary run, putting out Dirty South hit after hit. We can’t forget the classic Luda features and songs like Usher’s “Yeah!”, and his solo hits like “Southern Hospitality”, “Move B#tch”, “Get Back”, and “Number One Spot”.

Ludacris put some serious work on this album and it shows. This is one you gotta support.
