Lil Yachty Releases His ‘Lil Boat 2’ Album [STREAM]

Exactly one-year since the release of his ‘Lil Boat’ mixtape, Lil Yachty releases the sequel in ‘Lil Boat 2’. Although the original was a EP, the second installment is being classified as his sophomore album that follows last year’s freshman offering, ‘Teenage Emotions’.

Containing a total of 17-tracks, ‘Lil Boat 2’ includes a collection of features from 2 Chainz on “Oops,” Quavo on “Talk to Me Nice,”Offset on “Mickey” and “Baby Daddy,” PnB Rock on “She Ready,” Tee Grizzley on “Get Money Bros.,” Trippie Redd on “66,” and Ugly God on “Boom!,” and more.

Lil Yachty Calls On 2 Chainz, Quavo, Offset & More For ‘Lil Boat 2’ [PEEP]

 

Having his forthcoming ‘Lil Boat 2’ project dropping this Friday, March 9th, Lil Yachty unveils the track listing that comes with some frequent collaborators and fellow Quality Control Music members.

Set to include a total of 17-tracks, the mixtape, which is said to be a warm-up for his album includes features from 2 Chainz, Quavo, Offset on two songs, PnB Rock, Ugly God, Trippie Redd, Lil Pump, Tee Grizzley, NBA YoungBoy, and more.

‘Lil Boat 2’ is the second installment of his mixtape series that was released in 2016 and its second anniversary is March 9th, the same day ‘Lil Boat 2’ is set to be released. It will follow Yachty’s debut album, ‘Teenage Emotions’ that dropped last year.

New Music: Lil Yachty – “Most Wanted” [LISTEN]

The voice of a generation is returns!

In anticipation of his ‘Lil Boat 2’  mixtape dropping March 9th, Lil Yachty drops “Most Wanted,” which he said won’t be on the tape and he “JUST LEAKED A SONG NOT ON LIL BOAT 2 CUZ I WANTED TO FEEL LIKE I JUST STARTED AGAIN.”

The song features Yachty speaking on being Hip Hops most wanted rapper, his new habit of drinking lean, and praises his fans. The beat is very playful and Boat adds his personal melodies that has all the kids gladly singing along.

Lil Yachty Uncovers ‘Lil Boat 2’ Cover Art & Release Date [PEEP]

Taking a page out of the Migos’ book, fellow Quality Control Music artist, Lil Yachty opts to release the sequel to his 2016 mixtape ‘Lil Boat 2’ on the anniversary date of March 9th. He made the announcement on Twitter and posted the cover art as well, which shows him in the water wearing two massive, iced-out gold chains.

Just last year the Atlanta rapper released his debut album ‘Teenage Emotions’ that peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and included singles like “Forever Young” featuring Diplo, “Peek A Boo” featuring Migos, and “Bring it Back.”

The album drew a lot of controversy and created a heated battle with former “Everyday Struggle” host Joe Budden, who harshly critiqued the album and also made a spectacle of Yachty’s appearance on the show.
