Video: J. Cole Clears Up Jay-Z Rumor and Reveals Producers On Debut Album

Apparently there were rumors that the boss man Jay-Z was upset at the fact that J. Cole hasn’t released his album. Don’t feel bad if you didn’t hear about it because it’s all news to me too. Anywho, J. Cole clears that all up in this interview with the On-Air Idiots. He also gives advice to upcoming rappers and reveals some of the producers, No I.D., Danjahandz, Brian Kidd and more, that will join him on his debut album.

Video: J. Cole & Fabolous Live In NYC

J. Cole co-headlining with Fabolous is pretty damn cool! Fab performs “Start It Up” with special guest Lloyd Banks then jumps into “Really Tho” off his latest project, The S.O.U.L Tape.

In the second video, Roc Nation’s J. Cole gives the NYC crowd a high energy performance (as he always does) and performs “Higher” and “Who Dat.”

The show looked live! Props to Miss Info.

Video: J. Cole x Derrick Rose – I’m On It (Powerade Commercial)

Powerade congratulates NBA’s 2011 Most Valuable Player Derrick Rose in this commercial over J. Cole’s “I’m On It.” If you weren’t near a computer last night, Cole dropped a street single last night titled “Disgusting.” The debut album is finally coming soon.

Today, J. Cole tweeted more than I’ve ever seen him tweet. He informed us in less than 140 characters, “All singles done. Album ridiculous. Title Perfect. Music incredible. Thank you for your patience. Let’s change the game.” He later added that the single is done and he is mixing and mastering it. With all that set in stone, Cole dropped one track for the fans. Enjoy!

News: J. Cole On Album Delay – “We’re in the final stages right now.”

During a press run before his show at the House Of Blues in Atlantic City tomorrow, J. Cole addressed the delay of his highly anticipated and still untitled album.

“I know my fans are frustrated with me, because I won’t give a date. I only gave a date one time in my career last year, and I smacked myself in the face because it was so unrealistic. Now I say it’s coming soon, and it’s really true, because we’re in the final stages right now.”

“I think of my own expectations and my pressure on myself. I don’t worry about what the world wants me to do. I’m worrying about meeting my expectations. My album is really heavy, it’s really emotional, it’s really true.”

I hope Cole’s debut album get a release date in 2011 or else I’m gonna have to have a word with Hov.

Video: J. Cole Debuts New Verse At U Street Music Hall

Speaking of great performers (I’m still coming down from the high of Kanye’s performance), J. Cole took the stage at U Street Music Hall in the DMV and spit a new verse before going into “Before I’m Gone.” Props to Omen.

Acapella verses just sound so good right before reciting “Before I’m Gone” off Cole’s latest project, Friday Night Lights. Check out the video I took of him at the House Of Blues in Hollywood. He flows into the same song with a different verse.

Any new verse/freestyle/track by J. Cole is good with me.
