New Video: SZA – “Garden” [WATCH]

SZA finds herself in a green paradise with beautiful waters all around her in the video for “Garden (Say It Like Dat)” off her debut album ‘Ctrl’.

The video is directed by Karena Evans, who also did Drake’s “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What” visuals. This 4-minute clip however is a little different and is shot in the beautiful Hawaiian island of Maui, that she explores along with her co-star Donald Glover.

New Video: Childish Gambino – “This Is America” [WATCH]

Over the weekend Childish Gambino made multiple headlines starting with his “Saturday Night Live” appearance in which also performed and premiered his new single “This Is America.” Shortly after the “ATL” star released the visuals for the track.

Co-produced by himself and Ludwig Göransson, the trappy beat allows Gambino to spit bars about the land of the free and the injustices people of color face everyday. “This is America / Don’t catch you slipping up / Look what I’m whipping up! / Get your money, black man,” he raps.

The single also includes a choir and a lit of rappers who come through with ad-libs throughout. Rappers that can be heard on the song include Big Sean, Young Thug, 21 Savage, Offset, Kodak Black, and others. Thugger also provides the outro vocals.

In the Hiro Murai-video Donald Glover appears shirtless with khaki pants and is seen smiling, dancing around, and losing his temper as he shoots at a singer and a choir. The video is juxtaposed with gunfire, blood splatter, rage, rioting, and graffiti. TDE’s SZA makes a cameo in the ending.

Gambino is currently working on his forth studio album which is expected to be released soon under his Wolf + Rothstein imprint via RCA records. It will be his final album under his Childish Gambino alias and is potentially also his final on RCA before he moves on to Atlantic Records.

Securing the No. 1 spot will put you in the spotlight, or atleast in the case of Migos it did. Last night the trio took their No. 1, smash single “Bad and Boujee” to late night, to perform it on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Last week it was announced that the single, which features Lil’ Uzi Vert, topped Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, replacing Ed Sheeran’s record-breaking “Shape of You.” For the three Trapeteers, it was their first chart-topping record, and has gained added popularity since Donald Glover (a.k.a. Childish Gambino) shouted it out during his Golden Globes acceptance speech.

“Bad and Boujee” will be one of 12 songs on the Migos’ forthcoming album, ‘C U L T U R E’, which is expected to drop on February 27th. The album will include features from Travis Scott, DJ Khaled, Lil’ Uzi Vert, and more.
