We love incorporating the fashion world into the music world as often as possible and this definitely has a little bit of both. This tape is in celebration of the re-release of the adidas Crazy 1, being that this shoe was originally released in 2000, we wanted to give a taste of what was hot on the West Coast back then and mix it with some of the new music that’s keeping things moving 13 years later.

We brought back our baby! We used to throw a party called Bubble Gum a couple years ago and for us, it was a break from the normal club stuff we always do. Don’t get us wrong, we love doing any type of club, but there’s something special about getting to play the classics and that’s what Bubble Gum is. It’s a loungy environment with great music. Jay 305 is someone who has showed a lot of promise this year in the LA rap scene, so much so, that Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa & YG all hopped on “Youzza Flip”. Jay 305 is one of our “2014 draft picks,” the things this record did in LA is one of the reasons why. Be on the lookout for The 2014 Draft Picks Mixtape dropping in the beginning of January.

Last night we had the opportunity to check out Nipsey Hussle’s Pop-up shop on Fairfax for the release of his new mixtape Crenshaw. Salute to Nip for having a groundbreaking event, he had hundreds of fans waiting outside to meet him so dope! Also a special thank you to Nip for showing us love in his thank you section on the mixtape! Couldn’t be more happy for Nip and the team! Congrats on a HUGE project.
